Were all friends here, so we dont mind telling you that somepeople at HQ were not hugely enamoured when Duncan Bannatynewas announced as the guest speaker. He doesnt always come across

as the nicest person in Dragons Den! In fact, were not too proud toadmit that we committed a Kleeneze sin of pre-judging!

However, that feeling (fear, maybe?!) completely disappeared whenwe read his book. What an extraordinary man with an extraordinarystory. Now, here at EWB, were onto the next book and haverealised something truly great - Duncan Bannatyne started out inbusiness with the equivalent of 13 Retail Kits. Seven years later, hewas a millionaire.

I started my business by buying asecond-hand ice-cream van for450, states Bannatyne in hisbook Wake Up and Change Your Life. Lack of money is rarely agood enough reason not to give astrong idea a fighting chance, andin my experience people wouldrather blame a lack of funds thana lack of belief or desire.

Not dissimilar to something we once heard from Bronze SeniorExecutive Distributor, Andy Cooper:

Compared to a multi thousand pound investment in a conventionalfranchise the Kleeneze opportunity is a snip at around 160. Theincome potential is often way better than a conventional franchise; we

can be in profit far quicker than most franchises. So does it not makesense to treat your Kleeneze business as a business from day 1?

If you treat your Kleeneze business as a low cost opportunity with alow cost mentality you will get low cost results.

If you treat your Kleeneze business as if you paid 100,000 for it andhave a very big business minded mentality towards it - guess what?

You are much more likely to achieve big business results.

My advice to anyone joining Kleeneze is to treat it like a business notlike a job - treat it as if you have invested 100,000 and not 160.

Here are some figures, based on an established customer base thatwould take maybe 9 - 12 months to develop.

34 Retail Kit (50 catalogue packs)Customer base average 3+ per catalogue dropped.Catalogues last min 7+ drops before needing to be replaced.

    3 x 50 x 7 = 1050 (orders) x 21% (33% of SPV) = 220.50

    3 x 50 x 7 = 1050 (orders) x 6% (10% VP) = 63.00Total return on 34 retail kit = 283.50

    *At Gold level 16% (24% SPV) = 388.50

*With a 5 average this would be up to 647.50!

If our investment of 34 has netted you a return of up to 388.90that is over 1000+% return on your original investment!Where else could you get an investment that consistently pays thatsort of return!

So it appears that those in the know are believing in it nowsdefinitely the time to take action! The impact of our televisioncampaign means those extra blanket drops have been paying off. Usethis time wisely. The new covers are out now, so invest in your future!

This week it was announced of the (record) one million students whoapplied for funding this year, up to 175,000 may still be waiting toreceive their student loans and grants. And once they do receive it,and continue to receive it on a yearly basis for the next four plus years, when can they expect to pay it back? Well, on average (and thanks to

a gender gap, which we wont go into here), women graduates face16 years of paying back student debt, while men can expect to settleup their bill for their studies in 11 years.Thats a lot of years worth of debt that could quite easily be avoided!I have just started my second year at Hertfordshire University. I joinedKleeneze last spring as soon as I finished my A levels, to earn someextra income for the summer and have kept on the business since, asit now helps finance my studies at university. It is a great source ofincome, with lots of opportunities - I do what I can and wherever I canand it fits around my hours at Uni.Kim Ekvall, Silver Distributor

I joined Kleeneze shortly after I had finished my A-levels. Since then Ihave been a full time student. During term time I was unable to do any

retail whilst at University of Lincoln due to restrictions at myaccommodation, but have never had to worry about finding a summer

job to top up my finances thanks to Kleeneze. I also had a small teamand reached Gold Distributor level in September 2007. I have justcompleted my degree, but as most people are finding at the moment,

there are no jobs. I plan to return to Uni to do a Masters degree, butfinance at this level is harder to come by. I need to work. Kleeneze tothe rescue again! This time when I return to Uni, I will have a job that is flexible and willfit around my studies and student parties! I also plan to build up myteam to give me a royalty income to fund my world trip oncompleting my masters degree.Laura Tait, Gold Distributor

I am currently about to start my second of a four-year degree in musicat Aberdeen University. I joined Kleeneze at the beginning of my firstyear (September 2008). Since then I have been retailing in my sparetime and have started to build a team. In the last 9 months I have beenearning around 215-300 per month but with the team building and

    ENTERPRIZE WEEKLY BULLETINIssue 39 16.10.09

We have been KleenezeDistributors for six weeks. Mary,my wife, has a full-time job andI was made redundant, for thesecond time, back in February. Before losing this job, I hadbeen out of work for

14 months.I was struggling to get work, filling out many application

forms, writing letters etc. But I was getting nowhere. I have over 20years experience in the catering industry, 2 years as a Facilities SupportOfficer and then 6 years as a Retail Manager, from which I was maderedundant in 2006. I had a few interviews but was offered nothing.

Not so unusual, in the current climate you may say, but since1992 I have had a serious visual impairment and in 1999 wasregistered as blind.

Employers were not prepared to give me a chance to show them that

the jobs I was applying for I could do. There is a lot of equipment outthere to help people with a visual impairment to enable them to dothe same job as a fully sighted person.

You cannot do that job because of your visual impairment and Dueto Health & Safety rules you cannot do that those are two sentencesI have heard many a time.

I am not one to sit back and live off the state, I want to get out thereand earn a living.

So when Mary first read the ad in the local paper about earningmoney on a part-time or full-time basis, I thought lets find out whatthis is about.

After ringing the number I sat back, waited and thought I bet I do noteven get a call back, but the next evening I got information through

and we watched the Kleeneze video. After a few phone calls over thenext week, Rob Branch came to see us and he answered all myquestions in laymans terms, not putting any pressure on uswhatsoever.

Mary and I had a good chat after Rob had left and we decided to giveit a go, what had we to lose?

It was going to be difficult for me but I would be working for myselfand I would have no one to say those things to me about not beingable to do this and do that for what ever reason.

Since joining the Kleeneze business its been hard work, andchallenging but I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

Ive had to overcome some of the hurdles, things that most peoplewith good sight take for granted. Such as the retailing books (toosmall to see); I have overcome this by transferring it onto A4 paperand printing it in large print and coming up with something differentrather than dots etc. plus using a Dictaphone when needed. Ive hadto firstly find the door and secondly find out how to get there fromthe path, and then have to find the letterbox, bell or house number.

Our 2 daughters like to be involved and will help me whenever theycan. Im hearing the words step or kerb shouted out a lot morethese days!

Kleeneze for me is great. I am my own boss and being out in thefresh air - you cant beat it. The exercise is great and I can earn whilstdoing it.

Listening to speakers at Showcases, what they have achieved and thegoals they have reached, makes me feel I would like some of that andnothing is going to stand in my way, not even being registered blind.
