On Wednesday 24th

August 2016, Russell & Sarah : Witches, Giants, Twits & Peaches! performed to the Grades 3 to 6 students. The show is based on Roald Dahl’s characters and the students enjoyed a series of improvised performances, which some of them also took part in.

On Thursday 25th

August 2016, we continued the celebration of Literacy Week and Book Week with a Book Character

Dress-Up Day and Parade. It was lovely to see all the wonderful costumes (see photos on next page). A huge thank you to

the library monitors, Aidan and Ryan, for hosting the event together with the School Captains, Tarrant and Jacinta, and to all

the teachers and students who came dressed up.

The Library will be implementing a new Library System during the last two weeks of term. So there will be no

borrowing or returning of any library books till term 4.
