UNLOCKING NEW

CARING capacity Elderplan is a health insurer running a timebank where members gain time credits for supporting other Elderplan subscribers. Elderplan found that volunteering to support others had such a positive impact on the volunteer's own health that they allow members to pay 25% of their insurance premiums with time credits.

Barnet Big Society Innovation Bank is not about ongoing grant funding. It's about giving people a leg up to start something that can be sustained. from a financial perspectve that probably means either creating

something that the council would like to commission, or something that individuals value enough to pay for.

Use this information to improve your idea and show that people want it

Push your imagination

IMAGINATION

How would the world be if everybody was in my target market?

Can I make any of that happen?

What are the resources of the people and organisations involved in my idea?

How can I make the most of those resources?

Get critical feedback on your idea Remember, 'I like it' is about the most useless piece of feedback you can have. Ask questions that generate answers that tell you what you need to work on
