DID YOU KNOW, KLEENEZE HOLD THE LARGEST LIVE BUSINESS EVENT IN THE UK?? ?

To tell you the truth, we’re a little bit sentimental here at EWB and justthe other day we were thinking back to the New Year Showcase 2008.

Were you there?

If you were, you must remember the gasp that went around the arenawhen the Spring Destination 2009 was announced – or maybe youwere too busy gasping yourself. Well, it was a truly awesome momentand one that has really stuck in our minds all this time.

Obviously, it wasn’t just EWB who was roused by the launch, though,as loads of you plunged into working your socks off to be part of this, our Ultimate Destination. And this week, we can very happilyannounce that eight more Distributors will be stepping aboard theeighty-seven metres long, luxurious Club Med 2 to sail around some ofthe most stunning locations on earth.

We don’t mean to alarm, but are you aware that there are now only 33 days until Christmas? Retailwas good back in September when we first launched the Christmas Catalogue, but now it’s comingalong at an alarming rate! Make sure you’re on that particular retail wagon, because it’s true whatthey say about Christmas only coming but once a year!

With Cabouchon, the Christmas Catalogue, Main Book, Health & Beauty and the Christmas Sale leaflet,Kleeneze’s a one-stop shop for everything anyone could want this Christmas time.

“We are all hearing ‘credit crunch’ and ‘recession’ as the regular buzz words of the moment, butthese need to be replaced with the buzz word: KLEENEZE!

Once again Kleeneze defies the moment when the country falls upon hard times, with high streetsales being down, as we are still continuously seeing good retail sales throughout the network.

Only last week, 131 of my long standing customers received the latest pack of catalogues and inreturn I received £1,250.50 in orders, which averages £9.55 per catalogue. Obviously this isnot the sort of return you see on day one, but it is after years of providing a regular, reliable andfriendly service.

We are in the right place at the right time. Customers are not wanting to be tempted by window-shopping which is why high street sales maybe struggling, but with us taking the shop to thecustomer we can help customers in still getting what they need without the other temptations thathigh street shopping can pose.

So if everyone just gets out there with the fantastic catalogues we currently have availablethen we can definitely come through these turbulent times with a smile on our faces and money inour pockets.”

Lesley Burroughs, Bronze Executive Distributor

“The Monthly Bargain brochures sent free of charge with orders are great,” Gold Senior ExecutiveDistributors Mike and Fiona Gough told us. “We include these in with our orders and do getadditional sales from them. Great idea and very helpful to building a business.”

Elsewhere in the Network, Distributors are coming up with all sorts of novel ways to get the productsout there.

Silver Distributor Shelagh Irving told EWB about new starter Cheryl Barlow’s innovative way ofgetting her customers’ attention:

“Cheryl started with Kleeneze less than 2 weeks ago, but what a start. Cheryl lives in Whitby, andworks full time, so is only able to work her Kleeneze business in the evenings and at weekends. Sofar, every time she has gone out it has rained, and of course she is working in the dark.

Cheryl has already had and delivered her first order and is preparing to fax her second order. Total forthe first two weeks - in excess of £500.

Cheryl has got a quite unique way of getting her name in people’s minds as she has written a poem, which goes out with every catalogue pack. She is finding this a brilliant ice-breaker and a lot of hercustomers have kept the poem:-

ENTERPRIZE WEEKLY BULLETIN Issue 47 21.11.08

Tried and tested ways to get the catalogues out there are also being used this festive season:

“I went around to my local pub to join in with their Christmas fair,” Valerie Hodd, SilverDistributor told us. “I displayed the Cabouchon jewellery and some of the products from theChristmas Catalogue. My husband had made me a stand – very basic, a bit like a Blue Peter job! However, I covered it with black lining to make the jewellery stand out and placed some micro-lightsfrom the Christmas Catalogue around them. It really drew attention to the stand and it’s just soinexpensive to run. I had £55 worth of orders on the day and many more still to collect from it.”

Previously a teaching assistant, Valerie’s now got her mind set on asking around schools to see if shecan take part in their Christmas fairs.

“This week I’ve found that the Christmas orders have really started to kick in,” she explains. “So farI’ve got orders in total of £600 and I have more to pick up later today. I think now that I’ve tried theproduct stand, I’ll certainly be using the opportunity for prospects as well; especially at the schoolfairs where there may be mothers who are looking for a part-time job.”

As for making excuses, not from our Distributors! This email was sent to us from Silver DistributorsMargaret and Barry Watson. They told us this is Margaret MacDonald’s second period in thebusiness and she’s not letting those challenges stop her!

“Margaret has found it difficult to get her books out. Her daughter has hurt her back and soMargaret has been walking the dog and looking after her grandchildren, leaving little timefor Kleeneze.

Margaret received a note from Kleeneze to ask her to call on a prospective customer.

She popped one book out.

She called us on Thursday evening and told me to tell Barry to sit down...Margaret had collected herone book and the lady gave her an order for £325! We are so pleased for her, so we thought wewould share this with you.”

It is without a doubt the most popular incentive we have ever run. TheStart Out Successful incentive, previously known as the Summer SizzlerIncentive has seen hundreds of new Distributors set up their businessabsolutely free. These same qualifiers also averaged £1000 per period inbulk sales over 3 times as much as non-qualifiers and on average eachsponsored 2 people within their first few weeks.

Our favourite part about thisincentive though is that it’s fornew Distributors. And youdon’t get much newer thanour first qualifiers, Frank andTrish Staples who took onlytwo weeks to qualify for theincentive and receive a fullrefund of their start-up costs.

“I saw the ad for the job inthe newspaper one eveningand turned to Trish saying ‘Icould do that!’ I got incontact with ClodaghMcDonald and startedstraight away,” Wexford-based Frank told EWB.

“I had been looking for a job anyway and knew a bit about NetworkMarketing, so thought I could make it work.

“It’s our third week this week and our total retail is €4,000. We’vesponsored four people into the business so far and might have a couplemore joining tonight. I think we’re just lucky! The plan now is to just retailas much as we can up until Christmas, because I really want to have areally good story to tell people!”

Sounds like it’s your hard work and not luck that’s paid off, Frank!Congratulations to our first SOS qualifiers! Let’s see if someone can beatthe record of two weeks to qualify!

There’s no better time to be Gold in the business. The Gold Rush is helpinghundreds of Gold Distributors on their way up the Sales Plan and morepeople are joining everyday.

“I joined Kleeneze around two years ago to earn an extra income and tohelp keep me sane after our youngest started school. My husband, Tony, showed no interest whatsoever, but I was happy to potter around andearn up to a couple of hundred pounds a month for some of life’slittle luxuries.

Last year, after I persuaded my husband to attend an open evening andthe following month, a Birmingham Showcase, he decided to join, leavinghis full time employment as a funeral director.

At our last open evening, I declared to the room that we would be goingfor ‘Gold’ in Period 11, as I wanted to reach Gold distributor level beforemy 40th birthday the next week! The highest we had achieved before thiswas 18%. We run this business with and around our five children, Robert(16), Sabrina (14), Matthew (12), Abigail (9) and our eldest son Peter whojoined Kleeneze at the end of Period 10.

Period 11 was truly a team and family effort, helped and guided all theway by our Bronze Upline Chris Young and Helena Edwards. With cleartargets set for our and our teams personal retail.

Peter, now doing his first full Period in Kleeneze, managed 10%,13% and 15%, retailing over £2700. With our own retail, and new bonuslevels hit by some of our team members we knew we had reached Gold bythe start of week 3. We were over the moon when we realised we hadachieved our target.

On the 31st October, once our status was confirmed, we celebrated with afamily trip to the cinema to watch the new Bond movie, followed by atakeaway afterwards. This is a part of the lifestyle side of Kleeneze that werecognise as being ‘real’, quality family time. Our definition of qualityfamily time is, time when it is needed and not when you are free;something the flexibility of this business allows.

Reaching Gold distributor has inspired us to aim higher, both for us andour team. Anyone who wants to achieve in Kleeneze can, just put a plan inplace with your Upline, act on it, and watch the results. It truly is anamazing feeling.”
