What is Be A Remedy?

Be A Remedy is a cause campaign organization that

partners with small businesses to benefit local non-profits.

We are starting with Bay Area restaurants and CA

education-related non-profits.

We seek to help individuals impact causes they care about through their everyday lifestyle choices, and we are starting

with the lifestyle choice of eating out. Through partner restaurants, individuals can give back just by eating out.

Our Team Jeff Wiguna – Founder Jeff has a deep passion for the idea that it is possible for businesses to grow and help the community at the same time. A passion that began at UC Berkeley, where he founded Remedy Music Project – a charity concert production group that raised funds for non-profits through local concerts. Since then, Jeff has worked for Johnson & Johnson in medical device sales; in sales operations & training and then managing a $3.5M revenue territory, acquiring a strong background in sales & brand messaging, and ranking #10/260 meeting revenue goals at 112%. He also played a key strategic marketing role in the development and launch of college consulting company, Jacqueline Education Group, with successful customer acquisition within the first week of launch. A true visionary, Jeff’s experience in helping organizations transform great concepts into successful realities and strong belief in building collaborative partnerships between businesses and communities is the driving force behind Be A Remedy. Jeff attended UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business where he received his B.S. in Business Administration and enjoys music as a hobby, having produced two music albums of his own.

Rachel Wilkie – Director of Marketing Rachel has a passion for strategy and brings to Be A Remedy a strong background in interactive marketing. She has been responsible for creating and executing results-oriented, integrated marketing communication plans, both print and online. Typical programs have involved: affiliate marketing, social media, display advertising, email marketing, e-newsletter placement and various lead generation programs. She is very proactive in her approach to planning and delivering marketing initiatives that effectively capture and engage consumer attention. With previous experience at marketing firms Walker Sands and Manning Productions, Rachel is consistently learning and researching upcoming trends and best practices with an emphasis on marketing 2.0. Her experience spans across several industries including: business, education, technology, professional services, retail and manufacturing.
