Charina L Flores, PHR VP of Human Resources Operations & Six Sigma,
Managing Partner
Charina is currently the VP of Human Resources Operations and Six Sigma for the Barbelo Group and the Director of Human Resources for Atlas Accelerator. As the VP of HR Operations and Six Sigma for the Babelo Group, she is responsible for the internal day to day operations of the organization as well as an external Consultant to clients where she serve innovative strategic human capital and organizational change initiatives in talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, HRIS, executive and career coaching.
As the Director of Human Resources for Atlas
Accelerators, Charina helps startup companies
build high performing teams and HR departments
from the ground up. She coaches Founders and
Executives on strategy throughout the different
stages of their growth and sits on a few Advisory
Boards.
As a former HR Executive to top HR
organizations such as Pepsi, GE, Allied Signal,
Honeywell, SK Telecom and Boeing, Charina has
produced significant cost improvement initiatives
globally. While at Boeing, she led the global HR
strategy and deployment of the 787 business
programs. She also lead the global HR team for
the Aftermarket Services for Honeywell and
successfully deployed the Honeywell Operating
System (Lean Enterprise) to two pilot sites that
became the standard for Lean implementation
throughout the entire Aerospace Business Unit.
Prior to her global roles, she was the Sr. Regional
HR Manager for Pepsi and Sara Lee where she
handled multiple locations and union contacts.
Charina is a Certified Green Belt Six Sigma Lean
Practitioner. She applies Lean Six Sigma
methodologies to efficiently streamline HR
processes to enable businesses to concentrate
on their growth. With over 15 years of experience
in private and public organizations, Charina has
served clients in the United States, Asia
Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
She is a Professional Human Resources
(PHR) certified by the Human Resources
Certification Institute (HRCI) since 2001.
She is an active member of the Society of
Human Resources Management (SHRM)
and she collaborates with other HR leaders
nationwide on solutions to labor issues and
innovative ways to improve HR and
Business performance. Charina is also a
Certified Integral Coach for professionals
and executives. She graduated Cum Laude
from Arizona State University with degrees
in Business and Political Science and a

Bob’s approach is practical and direct. He draws upon 27 years of management experience, as well as rigorous formal training. As a certified executive coach, he is skilled in undertaking sensitive conversations in which emotions can run high. Before founding his own consulting firm, his career included responsible positions with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, the Saudi Public Transport Company, MTA Bridges & Tunnels in New York, and in the private sector. As a manager, Bob has extensive experience in establishing and improving industrial, operational, and administrative processes. He turned around several troubled industrial operations, and was a key member of a team that led a mid-sized training company to record profitability. Bob holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors in History and Political Science from Whittier College. Bob is a Certified Executive Coach (New Ventures West), a member of the International Coach Federation and a member of the Institute of Management Consultants.

Beth MacDonald Partner Asian Market
Her work experience includes senior executive responsibility for corporate technical innovation and market development; new business development and organizational consultancy. She has worked with both Fortune 500 companies and small s enterprises in a career that spans over 30 years. Beth’s is a unique combination of technical and creative skills and a broad corporate experience spanning several industries, to industries as far afield as technical textiles, consumer products, medical devices, training and website development. The ability to work effectively across cultures comes from worldwide and regional assignments with Johnson & Johnson. This includes 12 years of strategic line responsibility for innovation and product development in Asia and elsewhere. Facilitation and coaching experience began three years ago. Charlotte Maure Charlotte was a public sector manager and executive for 20 years. She has designed and/or facilitated a wide range of training programs. Charlotte was a key member of the design team for a suite of management training courses for a Southern California water utility; she also contributed to the design team for a training, coaching and development effort with the US Agency for International Development’s Mission in Panama. Charlotte has facilitated numerous training and strategy development workshops. She was a part of the team that designed and delivered a goal-oriented workshop for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. She is licensed to deliver the Coaching To Excellence Course. Charlotte works with executives and managers both in the US and abroad who are taking on a new role – a promotion, a new set of responsibilities within an organization. Terri Bianco Terri is an experienced and effective trainer and designer. She combines more than two decades of public sector training and coaching experience to bring her clients the focus and in-depth communication needed for an effective learning relationship. She has honed her expertise in many areas of organizational leadership, possessing substantial practice with clients whose concerns include management skills, effective communication, team development, and participatory decision-making. She has experience working with local government, and is in fact a former local government executive. Terri has experience working with generational differences and closing the gap between more experienced employees and the younger generations: “GenX,” “GenY”, and” Millenial”. Terri holds a BA in English from the University of Maryland, and a training certification from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Eli is a Master Trainer who has earned respect and recognition across a wide range of corporations and government agencies. She has delivered programs to more than 100,000 participants in countries around the world. For more than 26 years, Eli has taken a leading role in developing and conduction cutting-edge programs to increase leadership effectiveness. Her results have been exceptional. She now works as a Master Trainer with other facilitators to build their strengths and support trainer development. Before becoming part of the Barbelo Group Human Capital Development Group, Eli was a senior executive with AMA Japan. She also served in responsible positions with Mitusi & Co. (Canada). Eli is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner, and has undertaken specialized training at Harvard University, as well as individualized instruction in applied behavioral science from eminent academicians, including Ray Blanchard, Ph.D., and Dr. John E Jones of Organizational Universal Systems.

Cathy Johnson
Based in our Singapore office, Cathy is experienced in facilitating workshops focused on leadership development and on high-performing teams. Cathy is also certified to conduct BlessingWhite’s strategic employee engagement modules: MPG - The Success Connection and HOS – Helping Others Succeed. Both are programs with excellent track records for in-house leadership development Prior to the Barbelo Group, Cathy worked with Global Sources (NASDAQ symbol: GSOL), a leading global provider of B2B solutions. There she held positions of increasing responsibility leading to executive positions in Business Analysis and Marketing (online and print) in Southeast Asia and Greater China. Claudia Hammer-Hewstone
Claudia has more than 20 years of experience as a facilitator, trainer, consultant, and executive coach. Her intercultural background is evident in her insistence on multiple perspectives, a curiosity for all things different and a creative stand for making a difference through her work. Her potential for contribution is broad, as she is experienced in working as an facilitator, trainer, executive coach, and consultant. Over the last 15 years, her work has involved both design and delivery. Design activities have included stakeholder engagement, and performance management and development programs. Delivery assignments have included “train the trainer” workshops for Leadership Transition Coaches as well as facilitating International/Global Leadership Situations and Challenges for senior executives. Her tailor-made design solutions range from one-day workshops to three-day leadership development programs for executives and integrated programs with a nine- month duration. Claudia’s design philosophy is informed by the need to integrate organizational, functional and individual objectives and to offer a range of learning and development opportunities. Claudia is a Graduate Psychologist (German Degree equivalent to Master), has Qualifications in Systemic Consulting from the Universities of Heidelberg and Witten (Germany) and is a certified user of a range of psychometric instruments.
Darryl Hewitt, Ph.D.
Dr. Hewitt’s areas of expertise are facilitation, coaching, organizational development, and strategy development. He specializes in designing programs to support the development of human potential. He brings a broad perspective and deep sensitivity to his work with people who face personal and professional challenges. Darryl approaches his clients as whole beings wishing to transform an important aspect of their lives. Clients come away with a renewed and reenergized sense of self and spirit. Dr. Hewitt has a BS in Psychology & Education from Wilberforce University, an M.Ed. from Kent State University, an MS in Health and Hospital Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Ph.D. from Florida State University. Darryl is also a Senior Lecturer at St. Mary's College of California for more than a decade, and teaches courses in Executive Leadership, Student Leadership, and Organizational Behavior. M. Lynn Myhal, Ph.D.
Dr. Myhal combines over ten years’ management experience with extensive training in facilitation and coaching to provide effective, compassionate work with her clients. Her work managing senior scientists and large dollar projects for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has made her the facilitator of choice for scientists and engineers. Her tenure as a Naval Officer has contributed significantly to her commitment to leadership excellence in science and technology. Prior to her coaching career, Lynn was a technical manager on loan to the CIA training and consulting department, where she carried out numerous internal organizational assessments, and delivered and evaluated training and other interventions for managers at all levels. As a collateral task, she used her project management skills and experience to control and evaluate major elements of multimillion-dollar projects, gaining recognition at the highest levels of the organization. Dr. Myhal has published several scholarly research papers. She holds a Ph.D.in molecular biology from the University of Rhode Island. Lynn is a Certified Integral Coach.
Vivian Groman
Vivian brings over 20 years of leadership experience and over five years of coaching experience to her work as a facilitator and coach. She has worked with managers and CEO’s in the public utility, financial services, high-tech, construction, communications and non-profit industries. Vivian’s clients are typically interested in developing leadership presence, coordinating more effectively with others, and transitioning into new roles. Prior to becoming an facilitator and coach, Vivian held several financial leadership roles, and led large enterprise system implementations as Senior Vice President at Charles Schwab. She established a record of success as a senior leader by building teams and balancing a future vision while maintaining established processes. Vivian holds a BS from the Haas School of Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley. A Certified Public Accountant and Financial Advisor, she is also a Certified Integral Coach, and has been certified as a Somatic Coach by the Strozzi Institute.

Lynn Coffman
Lynn created a Lean personal productivity program during a long term consulting and coaching engagement at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S. A. to prepare team members to implement Lean projects by inculcating lean concepts into their personal workspace and work habits. She primarily focuses her work at the departmental level to identify and remove areas of waste or blocks for groups of individuals that have to decide what, how and when to get their work done and solve issues and problems in a fluid and emergent environment. She helps customize the integration of people, process, technology and tools to streamline day-to-day activities and create higher quality and faster communications, information transfers and decision making. Lynn is also the co-author of the book, “Slay the E-mail Monster”, a tactical and practical system to get in control of communications and workflow and a productivity coach to Executives and all levels of Management. Lynn is immediate past President of the Orange County Chapter and National Board member for Professional Coaches Mentors and Advisors (PCMA). She is a former advisor to the board for the Center for Public Deliberations, Temecula, CA and past Chair of the HR Committee for the Poway, CA Business Park Association. She is a 2001 recipient of the Spirit Award for Corporate sponsors from American Cancer Society and past President of two local chapters of PEO, a woman’s group advocating and advancing education. Karen is a coach, mentor and strategy expert. Karen has managed and worked with the dynamics of organizations. Her first- hand experience leads her to understand the demands and difficulties of leadership roles; she is an expert at guiding clients as they cope with these issues. She recently participated on the team that designed and delivered a highly successful one day workshop for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Michael Valentine
Mr. Valentine spent 20 years with the International Business Machines Corp. Over the years, Mr. Valentine advanced into various field and headquarters management positions, earning several awards along the way for outstanding service to the company. His IBM background includes project management, marketing support, business accounting, business process analysis and structured systems analysis. Michael L. Valentine was also a Director with the Institute for Business Technology (IBT) USA, an arm of IBT International, the developer and Licensor of the “Personal Efficiency Programs”. He conducted these programs for major corporate clients in the New York metropolitan area, around the country, and was the head of the Southeast region of IBT-USA. For two years, he also managed the Knoxville, TN sub-office for Right Management providing outplacement counseling and services for all levels of personnel from staff to Executives. Currently he is affiliated with the Value-Based Project Management Group (VBPM) as a Practice Lead for Lean for Knowledge Workers. Michael is a Kettering trained facilitator in Public Facilitation. He is certified as a facilitator of the Clarity Process, based on the work of Deming and Marshall Thurber. He is also a Voice/Narrator Talent. Michael is also the co-author of the book, “Slay the E-mail Monster”, a tactical and practical system to get in control of communications and workflow. Focusing on individual and workgroup productivity processes, he has coached executives, managers and professional staff at all levels to support the implementing of corporate quality initiatives.
