people of all experience levels to create their own surveys quickly and easily

• Also provides services for response gathering and intelligent response analysis

• Customers have a choice of a free basic service or a more detailed monthly subscription based serviced

Basic Guidelines For Survey Construction

• Always include an Introduction as to why you would like respondent to take the survey or test

• Include directions or instructions to guide respondents on how to respond to the survey

• Survey body such be simple and easy to read and should flow coherently together throughout the survey

• Don’t try and cram to much or two little information on an a survey page at one time

• Don’t overload respondents with unnecessary data • Include a “Thank You” page and let respondent know that

once they hit “done” or “submit” that their survey has been completed & submitted in order to build respondent rapport

Creating a New Survey• Log into your Survey

Monkey account• Click “Create Survey”• Three options will

appear- select “Create from scratch”

• Click “Add Question” & in the opened dialog box add your question & type of question from the list provided

• Continue to add questions until you are done

• Click the “save” button will save your work

• Formatting options are available for use if you wish to customize the survey & questions

• Remember select questions that best match your goals for respondents

A Few More Thing…• Make sure you double check over your completed

survey • Make sure there are no spelling, contextual, grammatical,

punctuation, or ease of reading & flow or any other errors present

• Make sure that the right type and selection of questions match your needs & those of the future respondents

• Make sure you K.I.S.S. all your respondents = Keep It Simple Stupid

• Make sure you have an introduction, a set of instructions, you remain objective, and include a thank you page
