Costin Craioveanu was born in Bucharest in 1975 into one of the largest families of artists in Romania: his grandfather was a sculptor, his grandmother made icons, his father is a painter and metal worker, his uncle a renowned ceramicist and painter. Costin is the most prolific of Romanian artists, having sold more than 2,500 large works. With an avant-garde style that remains always fashionable but with asking prices that are wholly accessible, Costin’s paintings hang in the homes of Hollywood actors, ambassadors, politicians, important business people and many others who simply love art.
