The main aim of the Master in International Business Administration is
to develop professionals able to promote the internationalisation of
their enterprises, design, implement and manage the process of entering
in new markets and the growing opportunities that emerging markets
offer. This requires a broad vision based on in-depth knowledge of both,
the international context and its implications for the different business
areas, and the most significant features of international trade and
international operations.

This Master is addressed to recent graduates
from different knowledge areas (business,
engineering, economics, etc.) and with less than
two years of work experience.
Candidates should have a proactive attitude to changes and trends in a
global economy, be conscious of the growing complexity that the
interrelation of commercial and investor flows among countries implies, as
well as the importance of managing business in multicultural environments.
Thus, a high level of English is required in order to achieve a proper
understanding of the subjects taught during the programme and that allow
them to overcome with success their professional future.
L e n g t h The programme lasts one academic year full
time (from September to June). It is also possible to undertake the
program part time. Classes are given three days per week (Monday,
Tuesday and Thursday) from 16 to 20 pm, in the Getafe Campus in the
Carlos III University.
The programme is taught in two languages L a n g u a g e English and Spanish. This allows national and international students to
achieve competences and skills in both languages.
Specifically, during the first semester, the courses are taught in English
and during the second semester, the courses are taught in Spanish.
PROGRAMA
The Master in International Business
Administration is divided into 6 modules with
courses and specialization seminars in
international management and commerce,
structured in 60 ECTS. The programme offers:
• Theoretical and practical training in
different business areas to understand the
international process and their effects in
each one.
• Seminars and workshops with prestigious
professionals and managers responsible for
the international processes of their firms.
• Case studies that allow the analysis of real
problems of international firms and a
practical implementation of the knowledge
acquired in the courses.
• Tutorship of an internationalization
project, by experts in international business.
Students can also undertake an internship
during the master in multinational enterprises,
SMEs immersed in an international process, etc.
