Server Directions to Access PrincipalsDatabases from a Mac
1. On the toolbar, click Go
2. Select Connect to Server...
3. Type in the server address:smb://staff.cmcss.net
4. Click Connect
5. A message will appear indicating the connection is working.
6. Replace “Registered User” name with first name.last name.
In this example, the name would be deleted and replaced with dee-etta.whitlock.
7. The password for this server is the same as the user’s email password.
Then click Connect.
8. The word Users will be highlighted. Click OK.
9. A window will open and the Users volume will be highlighted.
10. Click on the folder Sharing.
11. The Sharing folder is now open. Scroll to find the folder PrincipalsDatabases.
12. Each time access is needed to the PrincipalsDatabases, these directions will need to be followed.
