Dear friends, Several weeks ago I shared in this column one of my “survival skills” --- a practice that “keeps me alive and positive” during this long dark time. And several of you shared yours: --- My survival skill is to get up early and take my dog, Jack, for a nice long walk - anywhere from 3-5 miles. This allows me to get out of my own head and provides time and space for me to simply enjoy spending time with Jack- who doesn't seem to care about any of the troubles / worries that can weigh me down at times. He's just happy to be with me and loves me unconditionally; which always helps to remind me that's how God feels about me, too. Blessings, Kim Heim --- I end my day by reflecting on the day’s events and finding the positives of the day. These are the times I saw God present. There are more that I realize! Theresa Cesiro --- My survival skill is to just be patient by praying each day and asking God to put and end to this virus. Amen! God bless you Donna Omlin.

--- Every Thursday evening, I make a meal for my 3 adult grandchildren. They love my cook-ing and I love preparing dinner for them. Each week in rotation, one of them gets to "choose" what I make. Then we spend a couple of hours telling light-hearted stories, talking about our lives, and sharing our dreams. Their wisdom amazes me and I get a peaceful feeling knowing the future is secure with our youth. In Christ, Rosie Rundle I’ll be sharing more “survival skills” in the weeks ahead. Feel free to send in your own addi ons, signed or unsigned, to mmiller@sbdiocese.org if you’d like to contribute. Peace, All Good! Fr. Mike

¡Paz y bien! P. Mike
