Voyage Award
compiled & organised exclusively by
Trefoil Guild
for all its members, giving them a chance to create
their own adventures.
There are three Voyage Award levels:
Bronze
Silver
Gold
How it works
A certificate & metal badge will be awarded on completion of each level
When starting on a higher level individuals should try something new or extend the skill/activity done previously
An individual must complete the bronze before starting silver & silver before starting gold
Each level should take minimum of 12 months to complete (Bronze - 6 months)
Further information:
• Although this is
a personal challenge, individuals
can work as a group
in order to support & encourage each other
• A record of activities should be kept – using a log book
or file containing information, photos, leaflets, samples
of work, details of hours spent etc.
You will need to find a mentor – someone
who is interested in your subject:
The Mentor’s
Role
Your Mentor need not be a Trefoil
Guild member but must be someone
who has knowledge of or interest in
your chosen subject Your Mentor will
agree your plan with you and
offer any advice
Your Mentor must take an
interest in your activity and see that you carry it out as best as
you can
While you are carrying out your activity he or she will keep in touch
to discuss your progress
When your task is finished your Mentor
will sign the appropriate page in your record book and
may provide ‘confirmation of
completion’ for your evidence folder
You may have a different Mentor for each of the sections or you may have the
same Mentor for more than one
