Since 2009, the digital version of our magazines, including Tech International, has joined the classic
version on paper. The digital magazine proved to be essential to reach a lot more people than before all over the world and by word of mouth is now popular to a growing number of insiders and professionals.Until now we have been working online especially with far away countries and it proved to be a successful option. At the same time, we have tried to figure out what was the main purpose of trade magazines today, we wondered about our role in the market and how we could have been more useful to our readers. Currently, most of the news we publish are probably already old by the time they arrive on the paper of a quarterly magazine.
For these and other reasons that we are sure our readers understand and share with us, we have decided that the time has come for us to go on and keep up with the times. Starting this fall TECH International and our other journals in the optics and eyewear field, VEDERE International and VEDERE Italia, will be published only in their digital edition. They will become monthly online magazines and TECH International will be in Italian and English. There will be a new synergy between the digital edition, a web site, the social networks and the entire web, which we are sure you will appreciate. We will still print TECH International on paper at least twice a year, with special issues for the international trade shows where the magazine will be hand out to the visitors.
Tech International goes digitalA new step towards the future

Alla fiera di quest’anno gli

e 60 estere. Il settore degli

nuovo concept espositivo.

Con il nuovo layout delle
aree espositive, i visitatori
avranno un’idea ancora più
chiara delle possibilità di
collaborazione, innovazio-
ne e le prospettive future
dell’intera catena di proces-
so.
Il Padiglione 8.0 rappre-
senta il fulcro di EuroMold
quest’anno. La mostra spe-
ciale intitolata “Fabbrica-
zione Additiva e Utensili”
mostrerà esempi di proficua
collaborazione tra i due set-
tori. In modo simile, questo
sarà chiaramente affron-
tato nel ‘parco tematico’
dal titolo “La forza nella
costruzione di stampi con
produzione additiva”. Inol-
tre, l’Area Termoformati e
il forum tematico intitolato
“Materiali” e “Costruzione

padiglione 8.0.
L’offerta sarà completata
dal Forum “Design & Engi-

CAE, che si concentrerà
sullo stato dell’arte delle
tecnologie nel campo del
design computer-supported
e dell’ingegneria.
Inoltre, la zona CAMPUS,
che si concentrerà sulla co-
struzione leggera, offrirà ad
aziende e università la pos-

stabilire nuovi contatti.
Il Padiglione 9.0 sarà intera-
mente dedicato agli esposi-

della costruzione di stampi

zionale delle tecnologie per
l’innovazione organizzata da
Senaf.
L’elevata affluenza di deci-

è un chiaro segnale di un
comparto che vuole tornare
a investire sui processi pro-
duttivi. L’edizione 2015 di

tecnologie su cui le azien-
de potranno investire, e ai
quali si affiancheranno aree
dimostrative che mostre-
ranno dal vivo processi pro-
duttivi, grazie alla presenza
di macchinari in funzione.
In particolare, verranno svi-
luppate numerose iniziative
dedicate ai temi dell’auto-

MIdEST 2014: a grEaT ShOw In prOSpEcT
MIdEST 2014 : una bella edizione in prospettiva
Nonostante un contesto
economico sempre dif-
ficile, le iscrizioni a sono in
linea con quelle dello scor-
so anno (1.702 espositori),
sia per quanto riguarda gli
espositori francesi che quelli
internazionali.
Il salone avrà luogo dal 4 al
7 Novembre presso il quar-
tiere espositivo di Paris Nord
Villepinte. Nel 2014, MI-
DEST presenta alcune novità
e animazioni speciali. Mette
al posto d’onore, per la pri-
ma volta, un paese del Nord
Africa – la Tunisia – e una re-
gione francese - la Norman-
dia - e realizzerà un focus sul
settore portante dell’econo-
mia europea, l’aeronautica.
La subfornitura francese si
conferma l’offerta principa-
le del salone MIDEST e do-
vrebbe rappresentare circa
il 60% degli espositori. Le
partecipazioni collettive del-
le 15 regioni francesi rap-
presentate raggrupperan-
no circa 600 imprese. Per
quanto riguarda gli esposi-
tori internazionali, i partner
stranieri di MIDEST hanno
confermato la loro presenza
e dovrebbero riunire circa
650 imprese di 35 paesi,
di cui 18 attraverso parte-
cipazioni collettive ufficiali.
L’Italia è il primo paese in-
ternazionale per numero di
espositori grazie alla pre-
senza, ad ogni edizione, di
un centinaio di società.
Sul fronte dei settori d’atti-
vità la plasturgia / la gomma
/ i compositi, la lavorazione
industriale / la tornitura a
barra / le macchine speciali,
la forgia / la fonderia, i ser-
vizi per l’industria e l’elettri-
cità sono ad oggi in netta
progressione rispetto allo
stesso periodo dello scorso
anno. Il legno, la formatu-
ra ed il taglio dei metalli / la
caldareria e le microtecniche
sono stabili. Unicamente i
settori finiture / trattamenti
delle superfici / trattamenti
termici, materie prime / ma-
teriali / prodotti semi-finiti e
finiture registrano ad oggi
una leggera perdita. Da no-
tare: i tessuti tecnici fanno
per la prima volta la loro ap-
parizione all’interno del sa-
lone. Sarà inoltre proposto
un focus sulla produzione
addittiva attraverso alcune
conferenze.

terms of industry sectors, plastics / rubber / composite mate-

currently significantly ahead of where they were at the same

nel 2007, da una lunga e
consolidata esperienza nel-
la prototipazione e oggi è
arrivata a sviluppare solu-
zioni hi-tech per la prototi-
pazione e per la produzione
rapida, con il fine ultimo di
ridurre i tempi di sviluppo
nuovi prodotti e per dimi-
nuire, di conseguenza, il
time to market. Questi si-
stemi sono ormai diventati
un must-have e una risorsa
strategica per la competiti-
vità delle aziende. L’obietti-
vo di DWS è innovare i pro-
cessi per rendere più rapida
e flessibile la produzione.
DWS è leader nel settore
dell’oreficeria ed è anche
un player importante, con
soluzioni interessantissime
nel settore dentale e delle
applicazioni industriali in
generale.
La tecnologia:
I vantaggi DWS possono es-
sere così riassunti:
– l’utilizzo di una nuova ge-
nerazione di resine e mate-
riali fotosensibili sviluppati
internamente all’azienda
– l’innovativo sistema laser
BluEdge®

Machinery & Equipment
DWS is the only Italian company today capable of de-
veloping systems for prototyping and rapid produc-
tion through implementation of stereolithography technol-
ogy, with in-house manufacture of all the necessary resins
and materials. It exports 95% of its production to over 60
countries around the world and is divided into four busi-
ness units: jewellery, dental, general applications and, from
today, consumer goods. The company’s mission is to take
3D printing to the highest levels of precision and definition,
helping businesses to considerably lower costs, making
them more streamlined and competitive, with outside-the-
box thinking and maximum freedom for creativity in every
sector.
DWS, Digital Wax Systems, was founded in Vicenza in
2007, drawing on lengthy consolidated experience in pro-
totyping.
DWS develops hi-tech solutions for prototyping and high-
speed production, with the aim of reducing development
times for new products and, as a consequence, time to mar-
ket. These systems have become must-haves and strategic
resources for corporate competitiveness. The goal of DWS is
to innovate processes to make production faster and more
flexible.
The technology:
The advantages that qualify DWS can be summarised as fol-
lows:
– the use of new-gen photosensitive resins and materials
developed in-house
DWS, produce raggi ultra-
violetti che solidificano la
resina fotosensibile strato
su strato.
Attraverso un posizionato-
re verticale, la piattaforma
di modellazione sale della
misura corrispondente allo
spessore dello strato solidi-
ficato. Questo movimento,
sincronizzato con quello
del laser, produce model-
li tridimensionali solidi di
eccezionale complessità e
precisione.
Un alto tasso d’innovazione
richiede grande attenzione
e protezione della proprietà
intellettuale. DWS ha depo-
sitato, in pochi anni, decine
di brevetti per proteggere le
sue innovazioni tecnologi-
che e di design.
Le business units:

directly from an STL file.
BluEdge®, a class 3B laser source produced by the DWS R&D
centre, produces ultraviolet rays that solidify the photosen-
sitive resin layer by layer. Thanks to vertical positioning, the
modelling platform adjusts to match the thickness of the
solidified layer. This movement, synchronised with that of
the laser, produces solid 3D models of exceptional complex-
ity and precision.
A high level of innovation requires great attention to and
protection of intellectual property. In just a few years, DWS
has registered dozens of patents to protect its technological
and design innovations.
DWS Business Units:
DigitalWax® J - jewellery. The range includes 7 prototyp-
ing and rapid production systems for jewellery, capable of
producing from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 3,200
models a day. All the materials are produced in-house by
DWS: casting resins, moulding resins, biocompatible nanoc-
eramic resins, also including Irix® Digital Stone.
DigitalWax® D - dental. The range includes 7 rapid produc-
tion systems in the dental line, capable of producing from
a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 4,100 crowns a day. All

EZFITMEI makes lens assembly easy
EZFIT Il montaggio lenti diventa “easy” grazie a MEI
MEI S.r.l (Valbrembo -
BG- Italia) – azienda
nota a livello globale per
aver introdotto la tecnolo-
gia di fresatura nel processo
di sagomatura delle lenti
oftalmiche e oggi principale
fornitore di macchine in-
dustriali dei più importanti
produttori di lenti e catene
di ottici al mondo – all’ul-
timo Mido ha presentato
EzFit: un macchinario di
dimensioni ridotte in gra-
do di portare questa stessa
tecnologia all’interno del
negozio ottico.
Come dimostra l’utilizzo
delle macchine MEI negli
impianti di sagomatura a
distanza di tutto il mondo,
la fresatura è da anni ormai
la tecnologia di punta per
la lavorazione delle lenti
oftalmiche, e lo sarà sem-
pre più negli anni a venire.
Con EzFit MEI si propone di
mettere questa tecnica ed i
vantaggi che ne derivano al
servizio dell’ottico.
La sigla del nome richiama
l’inglese “easy”, a significa-
re l’estrema facilità di utilizzo
del macchinario, che garan-
tisce tuttavia una capacità
produttiva e standard qua-
litativi elevati. La macchina,
infatti, è in grado di lavorare
qualsiasi tipo di bordo, con
diverse inclinazioni, e di re-
alizzare lavorazioni per ogni
genere di montatura (nylor,
glasant, avvolgente, ecc.).
Con EzFit è possibile otte-
nere le stesse performance
di una macchina industriale
all’interno del proprio ne-
gozio con il vantaggio del-
la semplicità operativa: un
sistema di auto-calibratura
utensili e percorsi guidati di
utilizzo facilitano l’uso an-
che a persone che approc-
ciano il macchinario per la
prima volta.
EzFit, come tutte le mac-
chine industriali MEI, si ca-
ratterizza per l’estrema af-
fidabilità, rendendo quindi
pressoché non necessarie le
costose visite di assistenza.
L’ottico potrà contare su
un partner tecnologico di
eccellenza, in grado di ga-
rantire consegne rapide di
qualsiasi tipo di montatu-
ra, anche in caso di forme
o lavorazioni speciali che
spesso si preferisce affidare
ad un laboratorio specializ-
zato.
La MEI ha presentato an-
che la Mei641 con TBA.
La tecnologia TBA (Throw
the Block Away) permette
controllo del potere e taglio
senza ausilio di blocchetti
di centraggio. Ampiamente
collaudata sulla macchina
Bisphera a doppia testa,
viene oggi resa disponibi-
le anche per la Mei641, la
soluzione “mid range” per
piccoli e medi laboratori di
montaggio.
ShapeFinder 2.0, infine,
è un sistema di rilevamen-
to senza contatto di forme
complesse e fori basato su
telecamera e ottiche otti-
mizzate. Grazie ad un sof-
tware di analisi delle imma-

progetti speciali per monta-
ture sportive.
MEI S.r.l (Valbrembo - BG- Italy), recognized world-
wide for having introduced milling technology in
the ophthalmic lens edging process, is the main supplier
of industrial machinery to leading lens manufacturers and
optical chains around the world. The company presented
EzFit last March at Mido: a compact machine that brings
the same technology to optical stores.
The use of MEI machines in remote-edging facilities world-
wide demonstrates that milling has been a top-of-the-line
technology in the ophthalmic lens edging process for some
time, and will become even more influential in the years to
come. EzFit MEI aims to place this technology and its ensu-
ing benefits at the service of opticians.
The acronym evokes the English word “easy”, meaning that
the machine is extremely easy to use while offering high
quality standards and productivity. In fact, the machine can
mill any edge, at different angles, and any frame (nylor, gla-
sant, wraparound, etc.). EzFit brings the same performance
features of an industrial machine to the store, with the ben-
efit of being easy to use: a tool self-gauging system and
guided steps make the machine particularly user-friendly
even for first-time users.
Ezfit, like all MEI industrial machines, stands out for its ex-
treme reliability and practically does away with the need for
expensive maintenance. Opticians can have a leading-edge
partner at their disposal that guarantees quick delivery of all
frames, and even for the special shaping or processing work
that is often outsourced to specialized workshops.
The company presented also Mei641 with TBA. TBA (Throw
the Block Away) technology makes it possible to control the
speed and edge without using centering blocks. Already
tried and tested on the dual head Bisphera machine, TBA
is now also available on the Mei641, “mid range” machine
for small and medium-sized labs.
Last but not least, ShapeFinder 2.0, a non-contact opti-
cal scanning device for complex shapes and drilling based
on optimized camera and optics. Thanks to image analysis
software developed by the company’s R&D department,
this product ensures extremely precise readings of the lens
shape and makes it possible to design special projects for
sports frames.

ShuttleFlex – high teCh Carbon Spring hinge
OBE (Germania) ha
recentemente pre-

di cerniera flex denominato
ShuttleFlex. La scatola di
questa innovativa cerniera
è realizzata in plastica rin-
forzata da fibra di carbo-

utilizzato per la prima volta
in elementi funzionali per il
settore dell’occhialeria.
Grazie alle fibre di carbo-
nio libere al 100% dalla
corrosione è stato possibile
raggiungere un’elevata resi-
stenza meccanica e termica
del pezzo. Nella scatola in
carbonio sono stati inseri-
ti due elementi flessibili in
acciaio inox per ottenere il
perfetto effetto “molla” (fi-
gura 1).
Un risultato invisibile in
tutti i materiali
ShuttleFlex viene fornito già
assemblato e deve essere

alle richieste del cliente, la
cerniera può essere fissata
con una vite o solo con col-

Grazie a questo facile pro-
cesso operativo ShuttleFlex
può essere utilizzata con
ogni tipo di materiale come
l’acetato, il metallo, il legno
o persino il corno.
Anche le montature in tita-

OBE Germany presented at MIDO 2014 a new spring
concept called ShuttleFlex. This innovative hinge car-
rier is made out of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic – a com-
pletely new material used for the first time in functional ele-
ments in the spectacle industry. With the 100% corrosion
free carbon fibers a high mechanical and thermic resistance
of the part was reached. Beside the carbon case two flex-
ible elements out of stainless steel were used to fulfill the
perfect spring effect. (See picture 1)
Hidden look in all materials
ShuttleFlex is delivered already assembled and has to be in-
serted in a predrilled hole of the temple. Depending on the
customers decision the hinge can then be fixed either with
a screw or just with glue. In both cases a superior stability
and pull-out force is ensured. Thanks to this easy processing
operation, ShuttleFlex can be used for all kind of materials
like acetate, metal, wood or even horn. Even in titanium
frames ShuttleFlex is an option! In all cases the hinge is in-
tegrated in perfect harmony in the temple and is therefore
totally hidden.
Zero rocking
ShuttleFlex was equipped with the flexUno technology: a
U-shaped side hinge provides at the same time rigidity and
therefore zero rocking but also enough flexibility to be bent
during the adjustment process of a temple. Thanks to a vast
variety of front hinges ShuttleFlex can be used also in lots of
material combinations (Pictures 2 and 3).
OBE believes that this hinge is a solution for many temple
concepts. The housing has been especially designed for all
kind of applications and temple materials. The whole prod-
uct is easy to use and due to its simplicity economic in the
purchase.
rigidità e quindi azzera l’o-

Grazie all’ampia gamma di
cerniere frontali ShuttleFlex
può essere utilizzata anche
in molte combinazioni di
materiali (foto 2 e 3).
Obe crede molto in questo
concetto che offre una va-
sta gamma di soluzioni per
i designer.

Wa - Flex hinge For Wood and aluminium FrameSViSottiCa preSentS itS neW Wa at Silmo 2014
WA è una famiglia di
cerniere flex che va
ad arricchire e completare la
già vasta gamma di prodot-
ti che Visottica fornisce al
mercato.
WA nasce con uno scopo
ben preciso, permettere la
sua applicazione su tutte le
montature prodotte in ma-
teriali quali Legno, Allumi-
nio, Titanio, Carbonio ecc,
ove le classiche operazioni
di affogatura e saldatura
non sono possibili.

luppata nelle larghezze utili
da 3,00 mm e 4,50 mm ed
entrambe le misure posso-
no essere fornite sia nella
versione da incollare che
nella versione con fissaggio
a vite.
Una delle principali peculia-
rità della famiglia di cernie-
re WA è l’integrarsi perfet-
tamente all’asta lasciando
inalterata la linea dell’oc-
chiale studiata dai designer
permettendo altresì all’oc-
correnza una eventuale per-
sonalizzazione laser.
Fra le caratteristiche tec-
niche di maggior spicco di
WA c’è la presenza di un
nuovo sistema anti rocking
fra scatola e frontale estre-
mamente efficacie. Questo
nuovo sistema permette
di garantire dei giochi che
vanno da ±0,5° sia ad asta
aperta che ad asta chiusa.
Le poche lavorazioni neces-
sarie da realizzare sull’oc-
chiale rendono la WA molto
versatile e semplice da uti-
lizzare.

WA is a family of flexible hinges that enhances and
completes the wide range of products supplied to
the market by Visottica.
WA is designed for application on all frames in materials
such as Wood, Aluminium, Titanium, Carbon, etc. where
the usual immersion and soldering operations are not pos-
sible.
WA is a 3.00mm and 4.50mm wide flex hinge and both
sizes are available in versions for glue or screw fixing.
One of the main features of the WA family of hinges is that
it integrates perfectly with the temples so that the design of
the spectacles remains unaltered and can be laser custom-
ized if required.
One of WA’s most important technical characteristics is a
new highly effective anti-rocking system between the end
piece and frame front. This new system allows ±0.5° play
with the temples open or closed.
The few operations needed on the spectacles make WA ex-
tremely versatile and simple to work with.
Below are the main strength values:
Bending: 30 cycles at ±15°; pulling resistance: 250 N; extra
opening force: 50N; Opening closing test: 40,000 cycles.

sono realizzati con CNC,
fresatrici, torni, goffatrici - e
la procedura di stampaggio
a iniezione con macchinari
all’avanguardia.
Le macchine di produzione
sviluppate appositamente
e l‘officina interna per la
realizzazione di utensili e
stampi consentono la pro-
duzione immediata e di alta
qualità di piccole parti.
Redtenbacher annovera tra
I suoi client i settori auto-
motive, elettrico ed elettro-
nico.
Gli orologi e gli articoli del
settore dentale sono dotati
di componenti di precisione,
la tecnologia di illuminazio-
ne ha parti speciali, il setto-
re della gioielleria richiede
diversi accessori e, ultimo,
ma non per importanza, il
settore dell’occhialeria ne-
cessita di ogni genere di
componenti di precisione.
Redtenbacher è orgoglio-
sa delle sue tradizioni, che
hanno soddisfatto con pre-
cisione e affidabilità le esi-
genze dei suoi clienti per
più di 350 anni.
Questa lunga storia della
società dimostra che il servi-
zio, la qualità e la continua
ricerca per l‘innovazione
non sono solo slogan per
Redtenbacher ma parole
chiave che svolgono un ruo-
lo importante tutti i giorni.
L’85% della produzione
viene esportata. Con 150
dipendenti, i suoi prodotti
sono fabbricati in Austria
(90%) e in Francia (10%).
Un altissimo livello di au-
tomazione garantisce da
un lato la qualità da fine
artigianato, e, dall‘altro,
consente costi di produ-
zione competitivi in questi
due paesi tradizionalmente
ad alto salario. Il vantaggio
per i clienti è l’alta qualità in
combinazione con un servi-
zio superiore.
Altro pilastro fondamentale
è il reparto Sviluppo Prodot-
to altamente proattivo in
base ai segmenti di clien-
tela.
Redtenbacher ha un ruolo
di primo piano soprattutto
nel campo dell’occhialeria
per quanto riguarda la qua-
lità e il design e dimostra
il suo senso di sviluppo del
mercato.
Il successo della famiglia
di cerniere Ypsilon della
Redtenbacher, con i suoi
membri Ypsilon 5, 0XS,
Ypsilon 3,5 e la Ypsilon
Decor dimostra l’attuale
tendenza delle cerniere na-
scoste.
Per rendere questa tenden-
za disponibile anche per i
clienti Redtenbacher affe-
zionati alla serie SIGMA,
il team R & D ha ampliato
la famiglia Sigma con una
gamma dalla nuova forma.
La protagonista di questa
serie è la Hidden Sigma.
Con la sua anima a filo cor-
to, si rivolge principalmente
ai produttori di montature
stampate ad iniezione, ma
funziona perfettamente an-
che con l’acetato. Oltre alla
ben collaudata tecnologia
Sigma e ai noti vantaggi
come la mancanza di oscil-
lazione e la grande stabilità,
la HIDDEN Sigma viene for-
nita con un nuovo design,
che la rende invisibile sul
prodotto finito e reca un
vantaggio di costo grazie
alla facilità di lavorazione
durante la produzione.

ta dall’aspetto del HIDDEN
Sigma - Redtenbacher ha
deciso di proposito di con-
frontarsi con le tendenze
durante la progettazione
della nuova linea Sigma A.
Spigoli vivi combinati con
forme fluide - per tutti coloro
che sono stanchi dell’aspetto
comune di una cerniera flex!
Ovviamente Sigma A mo-
stra tutti i vantaggi della
ben nota linea Sigma:
• completamente chiuso
per una grande maneg-
gevolezza
• parte scorrevole inter-
cambiabile
•massimastabilità
Ci sono solo poche cose
con le quali un produttore
di cerniere può contribuire
a realizzare una montatura
da vista di alta qualità, ma
in alcuni casi questo con-
tributo può essere decisi-
vo. L’arte della precisione
- Redtenbacher.
Redtenbacher Präzisionsteile GmbH (Scharnstein, Au-
stria) specialized in the production of precision parts
for diverse industry branches. Precision parts are made by
CNC-, milling-, turning-, embossing- and injection-molding
procedure with a state-of-the-art machinery. Especially de-
veloped production machines and an in-house tool- and
mold shop allow immediate and high quality production
of small parts.
Redtenbacher numbers among its contented customers the
automotive-, electrical- and electronics industry. Watches
and products of the dental industry are equipped with pre-
cision parts, lighting technology with special parts, jewelry
industry with diverse accessories and last but not least the
optical frame industry with all kind of necessary precision
parts.
REDTENBACHER is proud of its traditions, which have ful-
filled the requirements of its customers with precision and
reliability for more than 350 years. This long company his-
tory proves that service, quality and continuous strive for
innovation are not only slogans for Redtenbacher but key
terms, which play an important role everyday.
85% of the production is exported. With 150 employees,
its products are manufactured in Austria (90%) and in
France (10%). An exceptionally high level of automation en-
sures fine craftsmanship on the one hand and on the other,
enables competitive production costs in these two tradition-
ally high-wage countries. The advantage for the customers:
highest quality in conjunction with top service.
Another pillar is the proactive Product Development accord-
ing to its customer segments. Especially in the field of the
frame industry REDTENBACHER has a leading role with re-
gard to quality and design and demonstrates its sense of
market development.
The success of the REDTENBACHER hinge family Ypsilon
with its members Ypsilon 5, 0XS, Ypsilon 3,5 and the Yp-
silon Decor proves the current trend to hidden hinges.
To make this trend available also for Redtenbacher’s loyal
SIGMA customers, their R&D team enlarged the Sigma fam-
ily by a newly shaped range.
The star of this range: the HIDDEN Sigma.
With its short wire core, it addresses mainly producers of
injection molded frames, but it also works perfectly with
acetate.
Beside the well proven Sigma technology and known ad-
vantages like “no rocking” and great stability, the HIDDEN
Sigma comes with a new design, hidden look and cost ben-
efit due to the easy handling during production.
In times of color blocking and pattern mix - and inspired by
the look of the HIDDEN Sigma - REDTENBACHER decided
on purpose to clash with the styles when designing the new
Sigma A line.
Sharp edges combined with flowing shapes - for all who are
tired of the common look of a spring hinge!
Of course the Sigma A shows all advantages of the well
known Sigma line:
• completely closed for easy handling
• interchangeable gliding part
• highest stability
There are only a few things which a hinge producer can
contribute to a high quality optical frame, but in some cases
this contribution can be decisive. The fine art of precision -
Redtenbacher.

Per ottenere una quali-
tà di lavaggio costante
e stabile è necessario un
monitoraggio regolare e
continuo dei principali pa-
rametri del processo, quali,
ad esempio, la concen-
trazione del detergente,
la qualità del bagno di ri-
sciacquo e la quantitá delle
particelle ancora presenti.
Questi parametri possono
essere controllati mediante
la titolazione acido-base e
le misure di conducibilità.
Una domanda che nasce
spontanea in questo con-
testoése,ecome, ibagni
devo essere trattati. La so-
luzione piú diretta e quella
che implica i piú bassi co-
sti di investimento sarebbe
quelladicambiareilbagno

tavia, tenendo conto della
frequenza necessaria con
cuidevonoesserecambiati,
questopotrebbecomporta-
re dei costi operativi molto
alti dovuti al detergente da
reintegrare ed alla quantitá
di acqua richiesta che dovrá
essere in seguito riscalda-
ta. Senza dimenticare che
si devono calcolare anche
i costi di smaltimento ed i
tempi di fermo-macchina.
“Una completa filtrazione
della soluzione detergente
durante il riempimento e lo
svuotamento della camera
di lavoro - per esempio con
filtri a sacco oppure con fil-
tri a cartuccia - assicura una
continua rimozione delle
particelle e di altri elementi
contaminanti solidi. Inol-
tre, per il trattamento del
bagno di risciacquo si può
integrare nell’ímpianto un
evaporatore che puó lavo-
rare in maniera continua
o secondo il fabbisogno
energetico richiesto dal
sistema”, afferma Katja
Mannschreck, Direttrice
della Dürr Ecoclean Aka-
demie a Filderstadt, spie-
gandoci come si prolunga
la vita operativa dei bagni.
L’energia richiesta per la
fase di evaporazione viene
poi recuperata interamente
o parzialmente per riscal-
dare i bagni.Quando l’im-
pianto lavora a pieno cari-
co, l’energia richiesta per
la continua evaporazione é
molto alta e questo fino ad
ora ha limitato il recupero
di energia. Un notevole mi-
glioramento éstatopossibi-
le grazie all’introduzione di
una innovativa pompa di
calore ad alta temperatu-
ra che la Dürr Ecoclean ha
sviluppatoincollaborazione
con la Combitherm GmbH
e con „l‘Institut für Ener-
giewirtschaftundRationelle

dell’Università di Stoccar-
da. Questa pompa utilizza
il calore di condensazione
rilasciato nel circuito di eva-
porazione per evaporare la
soluzione detergente. Que-

e favoriscono l’accumulo
di sporcizia. Al contrario, i
recipienti cilindrici montati
verticalmente favoriscono il
deflusso del fluido ed impe-

positi, incrementando la vita
