Glory (Worshipping God)Grace (Imparting Christ’s love)Growth (Celebrating spiritual disciplines)

This is a great opportunity to ask questions of the pastors and to understand the meaning of membership in this faith community. This is an informal class about the mission, vision, and core values of the Springfield First faith community. The New Members class is open to individuals who have completed the G6 class and want to pursue membership at Springfield First. BODY & SOUL WELLNESS FAIRContact: Chantel Corrie, 793-9760 x126 or ccorrie@springfieldfirst.orgThis is an opportunity to make a difference in the Springfield area. The mission for this health fair is to dispense grace in a tangible way in our community offering a chance to build relationships with people we might not normally get to know. Medical volunteers are needed to help with dental, hearing, vision, and general health. Non-medical volunteers can be utilized in the areas of marketing, give-aways, registration, refreshments, children’s ministry, prayer team, follow-up, set-up, and take down. We are inviting organizations from the community to provide services, and we are teaming up with church leaders from the area to make this event meaningful for the community.When: Saturday, July 9, at 10:00am-1:00pm

Featuring world-class speakers, the Global Leadership Summit is designed to help all of us become better leaders. This year’s line-up of speakers includes:

XTREME SUMMER FUNWhat better way to learn about

Jesus than to do so with extreme summer fun! KidLife’s Xtreme

Summer will kick off in June and run through August. Each week,

KidLife will have a combined Bible learning experience along with a summer-themed activity

blast! Kids are sure to remember valuable lessons from God’s Word

as they engage in summer activities centered on building

a solid faith in Jesus. Summer key verse:

“Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being sure

of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1

CAMPING MINISTRY FOR CHILDREN & YOUTHSummer camp is a great way for kids to meet new friends while having a blast! Kids can learn new skills and have fun with lots of outdoor activities and wacky, outrageous, sensational, kid-relevant programming centered on God’s love and purpose for them!

This summer, we are very excited to be sending kids to Little Grassy summer camp in Makanda, IL!There are many different themes created for specific age groups at each camp offered. Take a look at the dates and camps below. Scholarships are available

ADVENTURE BIBLE CAMPGet ready for a spelunking adventure through dark caves with the light of Jesus leading the way during our Cave Quest Adventure Bible Camp! ABC is for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Kids will enjoy hands-on activities that reinforce the lessons they learn with their Bible buddies as guides to teach them about the hope that comes from knowing Jesus! Each day will center on a daily Bible point that teaches children something new about God as they engage in activities to include healthy and fun snacks, fascinating science imagination activities, dynamic music, and exciting games. ABC also depends on a team of people dedicated to provide a high-quality experience for children. BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASHKick off the new school year at the Back-to-School

Bash for kids and their families. Lots of bounce houses, games, and activity stations will give kids an

opportunity to participate in tons of activities. We will also be having a back-to-school supply drive for local

after-school outreach programs that help children through tutoring and mentoring activities.

STUDENT SUMMER TRIP: “BEACH WEEK”

This summer, our entire student ministry, grades 6-12, will spend a

week in Myrtle Beach, SC, investing in our relationship with God and

building our ministry community. This is open to all students!

TRIP · “THE DROWSY CHAPERONE” AT STAGES IN ST. LOUISYou won’t want to miss this laugh-a-minute script and one show-stopping song and dance number after another. We will be transported back to the Golden Age of Broadway through this Tony-winning musical.Following the show, we will stop for dinner at Cracker Barrel in Troy, IL.
