4. FIELD VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS AND ELEVATIONS.
5. REMOVE AND REPLACE EXISTING MANHOLE STEPS AND GRAB BARS. GRAB BARS SHALL BE PROVIDED AT FIVE OF THE SIX MANHOLE STEP LOCATIONS. MANHOLE STEPS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF GRADE 60 STEEL REINFORCING ROD (MIN. 1/2-INCH) AND COMPLETELY ENCAPSULATED WITH A WEAR RESISTANT AND CHEMICAL RESISTANT PLASTIC. MANHOLE STEPS SHALL BE PER STANDARD DETAIL 0260008/D02. EACH MANHOLE STEPSHALL HAVE A MINIMUM VERTICAL LOAD RESISTANCE OF 800 POUNDS AND A MINIMUM PULL-OUT RESISTANCE OF 400 POUNDS. MANHOLE STEPS SHALL HAVE 14-INCH MINIMUM TREAD WIDTH AND SHALL BE PLACED AT A MAXIMUM SPACING OF 16-INCHES ON CENTER. 9. PORTLAND CEMENT TERRAZZO FINISH SHALL BE PROVIDED ON ALL EXPOSED SIDES AND TOPS OF NEW CONCRETE CURBS. TRANSITION BETWEEN NEW TERRAZZO FINISH ON SIDE OF NEW CONCRETE CURB AND EXISTING TERRAZZO FINISH ON TOP OF EXISTING FLOOR SLAB SHALL BE AS RECOMMENDED BY TERRAZZO MANUFACTURER AND CONTRACTOR.
