State, market and Makers

Makers as a timeless way of being but also as a brand new politic, social and

economic category: how this emergence interacts with and modifies

state, market and society?

Covid Crisis created havoc in the “economy” : some actors and sectors have been heavily impacted while others took profit of the situation, not necessarily thanks to their good strategy but rather because of their “lucky” situation, characterized by the possibility to supply goods and services in a way adapted to the new context.

Makers could have benefited (in financial terms) from this situation : the demand for sanitary devices was high, market regulation low, so they were in a strategic position. How is that the outcome of this situation led to a widespread diffusion of free devices ? What were the social, economical and political dynamics at work ? And what perspectives this analysis opens to the development of the Makers’ Movement?

HOW DID YOU CONVERGE AND DECIDE TO WORK TOGETHER !?And what was the limit ...

How policy makers were open to collaboration? And what was the limit ...

How did you deal with private sectors ?And what was the limit ...

How did you deal with certification?

What the maker movement can learn from this experience in France ?
