Principal’s Message As many parents have probably heard the news that Gladstone Public School has a newly appointed Principal. Congratulations to Rebecca Smith, who is currently working as a Teaching Principal at Fairfax Public School. I will be staying in the position as Acting Principal until the end of the year. Your new Principal will commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2018. Mrs Smith is hoping to visit our lovely school and meet our staff, students and parents before the end of the year.
Our school staff attended the annual, “Spring Into Art” last Wednesday evening at Gladstone Art Gallery. Our dedicated school cleaner, Julie Wadwell, was the recipient of an award in recognition of her contribution to Gladstone Public School. A heartfelt congratulations goes to Julie for everything that she does for our staff and students.
Staff and students would like to thank Miss Dillon for all of her enthusiasm and professionalism during her three week prac placement, with our K-2 class. Miss Dillon is now a fully qualified teacher. We wish her well in her new career and all future endeavours.
