Darıca is a small sea side town of Kocaeli, Turkey.

Darıca is famous for its artichoke, olive ,cherry and dried mackerel (a kind of fish).

Darıca is located between two largest metropols,İstanbul and

Kocaeli.

Population of Darıca is 140,000.

There is an ageold plane tree in the centre of Darıca. Under this huge tree, you can have a cup of tea or coffee.Also, you can always see a pelican, the mascot of Darıca.
