Lessons learned– Sometimes a good idea can be really obvious.

– For early results, be ready to give up a large measure of control.

– An “organic” process moves rapidly to better solutions.

– Cost/benefit analysis needs to consider intangibles.

– Everyone likes shiny new toys.

Next steps– Access to digital casebooks (need publisher buy-in)

– Faculty training for classroom presentations

– iTunes U, Moodle for iPad, other LMS

– Apps to support small-group study sessions

– Standardize "cloud" information organization and distribution

– Increase licensing agreements for digital academic support

they already go to law school in one of the most beautiful places on earth . . . now they get iPads too . . . it just doesn't seem fair.
