i have recently been very busy out and about overseas attending travel marts in Pattaya and dubai and following on the success of these trips our Tour designers have been busily designing specialized tours for our discerning clients. our oper-ations staff did a superb job in May han-dling transfers and tours for participants of the sKal international Mid Year Con-ference , and so it goes on……we have been very busy indeed and loving it !

in May, renato attended the arabian Travel Mart in dubai which proved to be very successful resulting in our tour de-signers becoming very busy indeed with the demand for signature tours for dis-cerning travelers.

Prior to that, realizing the demand for quality golfing holidays, he attended the iaGTo Golf show in Pattaya . iaGTo (in-ternational association of Golf Tour op-erators) is the global trade organization for the golf tourism industry.

the best airport destina-tion in Indonesia will be the new Ngurah Rai Inter-national airport in bali.

“in terms of design, construction and security, ngurah Rai Airport is indonesia’s top airport”Dahlan Iskan, The Minister for State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) of Indonesia

bali’s, ngurah rai international airport is nearing the end of it’s major renova-tion with the new international terminal beginning to take shape. as well as the terminal there will be more car parking spaces which will greatly alleviate the congestion at the airport. our source tells us that international and domes-tic arrivals and departures will move to the new international terminal in august and the renovation of the existing inter-national terminal will begin.

Underpass UnveiledBali’s first underpass built on Simpang Dewa Ruci

The long awaited under-

pass at simpang suir has recently opened reliev-ing the traffic congestion

at the renowned traf-fic black spot. The project which took just over 13 months to complete now enables traffic to flow freely at the busy intersection

where traffic merges from nusa dua and Jim-baran in the south, Kuta,

seminyak and sanur. The new toll road is ex-pected to be open in July which will further re-lieve the traffic conges-tion from the southern areas enabling motorists to bypass simpang siur completely followed by the airport in late sep-tember.

Jukut Undis1. soak the undis (black kara beans) for 2 hours prior to cooking.

2. sautee the sliced shal-lot, garlic and hot chilli, then simmer on a low heat until fragrant.

3. add the chicken stock and bring to a boil for about one minute.

4. add bruised galangal, followed by the soaked undis and simmer for about an hour.

5. serve immediately while it’s still hot. You can serve it with bay leafs.

6. note: to make a soft undis (black kara bean), we should boil it into hot water and let it stay in the boiled water for about 12 hours before we start cooking the undis,
