Full Itinerary DAY 1 ~ Kusadasi Arrival Welcome to Kusadasi! Check into your hotel at your leaisure and the rest of the day you are free to explore this harbourside resort town. Tonight you meet your tour guide and fellow travelling companions. Overnight in Kusadasi4. DAY 2 ~ Ephesus and Kusadasi Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre before continuing to the house of the Virgin Mary. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and at the carpet village we learn how carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. Overnight in Kusadasi. DAY 3 ~ Troy and Acropolis of Pergamum Step back in time today as we visit Troy and its famed Trojan Horse, followed by a tour of the magnificent acropolis of Pergamum. Its impressive temples and library made it a renowned cultural and political centre in its time. Overnight in Canakkale. DAY 4 ~ Gallipoli Battlefields Tour Relaxed morning to explore the town of Canakkale before an afternoon tour of the WWI battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly, original trenches and tunnels and the Gallipoli Museum. After the tour we continue on to Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul. DAY 5 ~ Istanbul Sultanahmet Tour Tour the exotic city that spans both Europe and Asia visiting the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sohia, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. Overnight in Istanbul. DAY 6 ~ Istanbul Farewell After breakfast our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends and are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
