TOT (also known as the “tourism tax”) is a tax assessed on room nights in our lodging facilities. In Angels Camp the TOT tax is 10%, while in unincorporated Calaveras County, the TOT tax is currently 6%.

33% of the TOT collected in unincorporated Calaveras County, and 13% of the TOT collected in the City of Angels Camp is reinvested in the Calaveras Visitors Bureau.

These funds make up the majority of our annual funding and allow us to continue generating tourism business for Angels Camp and Calaveras County.
