what is the resistance?

The resistance was many groups of people like the Polish and the French all trying to get rid of the Nazis. The resistance fighters were very brave, many would risk there lives for the ridance of Nazis and helping the jews escape. They were often cought,killed and bearied with nothing more than a number to mark their graves. Most of what we learn about WWII is the nazis and the jews but the nazis would just about still be here if it wern't for the many Resistances.

   Polowitchus  Cleopas was arrested for helping jews to safety he was also part of the Resistence.

Ignac Shepetis he was a member of thejewish underground and took part in escaping the jews.

  Andree Peelwas a french resistance fighter and helped escape many Jews to Sweden.

The white rose was the german resistance. A group of german school students created this resistance secretly by using the nazi flag.
