How did you use new media technologies in the construction and

research, planning and evaluation stages?

From the begging of A2 level I found myself using blogger more frequently than in AS levelAs I think that I helped to organise the work that had been done and any existing work that Needed to be produced. Also, seen as this years work load has increase from AS it meant That it would be foolish not to use blogger for planning my coursework.

I found that using blogger this year to be more helpful because as the work increased it meant I could add a post here and there so that I could keep on track with the work and once I had finished I could simply delete it meaning it acted as not only a blogging site but a check list too.However, a positive outcome from using blogger is that It can be accessed anywhere with a Internet connection so that I could update any work or ideas from home too.

Another useful feature is that you can change posts that have been previously posted on to the Blog. This meant that if the work/ ideas that I previously posted didn’t make sense or didn’t Explain the meaning well then I could change it simply and quickly and the work on the blog would still look organised and would make sense.

Microsoft programmes are also I good source of new media technology because there are A range to choose form such as power point, word for example…….. I use word for a rangeOf reasons as they have options so that you can make questionnaires, graphs or charts.Theses are some of the example that I used to help me conduct research about the how the genre of music that I have chosen should appear to my audience. PowerPoint I used to Create a logo for my website and the background too. Power point is a simply programme thatI used to create these simply ideas that look effective once together.

Power point I found to be the easiest of the programme as I have used it plenty before so I'm no stranger to it.

Photo shop I the dominant programme that I have used in this process involving my coursework as it has been the programme where I created my digi pack as well as some ideas for the background and layout of my website. I found this programme to be the most difficult to use out of all of them because this is the programme that I have least experiences in since I only used it last year to create my magazine and even then I didn’t use all the features of the programme . This year I when I depended upon using Photoshop has it was essential for my coursework tasks.

Problems that occurred on this Programme where I didn’t know how to crop images and also I found using the more complex tools to be challenging such as grandniece and colour changes like from colour to black and white as I didn’t know where to find the tools.
