Music video

Camera angles from my music video can be seen as similar to my ancillary text but to some extent.

In my music video we have used a variety of camera shots such as wide, point of view, close up and high angle . While in my ancillary text we only used close up and full body shot. We wanted to use full body shot in our ancillary so we can see what she is wearing and close up shot is used to emphasise her features as the image on the back of the CD is a silhouette.

In our video we used different angles to show characters who are more superior or inferior using high angles, wide shots are used to show the character and their environment and close up help to focus on a significant object to the storyline.

Costume

For both the ancillary and video I thought that the costume should be similar as we want her to portray the image of innocents and making her wear casual clothes allows her to relate to the audience. the clothing she was told to wear was mostly plain tops, cardigans and jeans in dull colours. We told the male actor to dress in a hoody to make him look bad as hoodies are stereotypically used to

symbolise a bad person. We done this because the male is seen as the traitor as he cheats on his girlfriend. For the CD inlay we wanted the main artist and her boyfriend to be dressed similar so the audience can see the connection between and the relationship they use to have
