OpenPicus:  Open  Source  SoGware  Framework

The  core  of  our  technology  is  the  openPicus  framework,  which  enables  embedded  devices  to  connect  to  the  Internet  easily.

www.openpicus.com

Flyport  is  based  on  a  low-‐cost  16-‐bit  PIC  processor.    When  combined  with  the  openPicus  soHware  framework,  it  provides        an  op>mal  plaJorm  for  applica>ons  which  include  sensors,  actuators,  home  automa>on,  audio,  robo>cs  and  many  more.

Flyport  is  not  based  on  Linux  for  an  easier  programming,  lightest    hardware.

No  TCP/IP  exper>se  is  needed:  the  stack  is  managed  by  the  openPicus  framework.

Create  your  project  in  C,  compile  and  download  the  firmware  to  Flyport.

Import  your  dynamic  web  pages  and  link  them  to  the  firmware

Our  Vision

www.openpicus.com

FLYPORT  aims  to  be  the  best  in  class  Internet  enabler

Tomorrow  each  device  will  be  naMvely  connected  to  Internet,  opening    up  a  new  world  of  services  on  the  Cloud

Connected  devices  must  use  standard  protocols  such  as  TCP/IP

Our  plaJorm  must  be  easy  to  program,  light  in  terms  of  hardware    resources  and  green,  with  several  low  power  modes

Time  to  market:  Flyport  is  the  easiest  way  to  create  Internet  enabled  devices

Internet  connec>vity  may  be  enabled  in  different  modes:    Wi-‐Fi,    Ethernet  or  GPRS.    Flyport  is  the  only  complete  plaJorm    with  pin-‐to-‐pin  compability  and  simplest  applica>on  por>ng.
