StingRay has, since its original manufacture in 2002, been based around a custom built 2U desktop/shelf mounted server.

Whilst some of the internal components andarchitecture have been improved we took the decision that in order to really move StingRay forward, a 1U appliance would be required - not forgetting all the customers that requested it too.

How to upgrade StingRay Hardware?

It’s simple, just send us a complete back up of yourexisting set-up from the import/export menu, we will:

Restore this to a new 1U StingRay server

Ship it to you. All you will need to do is plug in the server and you will be ready to start using your new hardware.

Once satisfied, just box your old server up and return it toPro2col. It really is that easy so all you have to do now isget in touch!
