The Software Development UK Tornado (OPEM45) department of EADS – Defense & Security Germany strives for the modernization of software development to the state of the art. A focus of the efforts is the introduction and evaluation of model-driven software development (MDSD) with the goal of improving and simplifying the processes of software development for avionics computers in military aircraft, e.g., tornados.
