1What is handling returns



‘Returns’ is a list of all the items returned by the buyers

‘Return handling’ is the process by which a seller handles the buyers’

request for refund or replacement of products.

A ‘Return’ can be handled for either ‘replacement’ or for ‘refund’

In ‘replacement’ the product is replaced by a similar product and shipped

back to the user

In ‘refund’ the money is transferred back to the buyer’s account via

online transaction

Step 1:

Log in to your store admin panel with your login id and password

Click on the ‘Manage’ tab and select ‘Returns’ from the drop down menu

Step 2:

After selecting ‘Returns’, the return listing page will be generated

On the ‘Return listing’ page you can see the details such as Return ID, Product

details, estimated shipping cost, refund/replacement option and status

Step 3:

Click on the ‘Available actions’ button against each product to confirm

delivery on reception of the buyer’s product

Select ‘Confirm delivery’ from the drop down menu

You will now be redirected to the ‘Shipment details’ page

Here you will find shipment related details such as the following



Shipment ID

Shipment address

Shipment summary

Shipment details


Step 4:

A ‘Return ID’ as well as a ‘Product ID’ will also be specified.

Click on the ‘Confirm delivery’ button

Step 5:

After confirming the delivery, you will be redirected to the ‘return listing’

page

Check whether the return request is for ‘refund’ or ‘replacement’

Incase on ‘refund’ the money will be sent to the customer by the

company via online transaction

Incase of ‘replacement’ the product will be exchanged for a similar

product in return and you will need to follow the entire process of ‘order

listing’ and ‘shipment’ for it now




Step 6:

Select ‘Orders’ from amongst the ‘show me’ options

Step 7:

You will now be redirected to the ‘seller order listing page’ from where you

can start the process of ‘order listing’ and ‘shipment’
