INTRODUCTION Personality concerns the most important, most noticeable parts

of an individual's psychological life. Personality concerns whether a person is happy or sad, energetic or apathetic, smart or dull. Over the years, many different definitions have been proposed for personality. Most of the definitions refer to a mental system .Its a collection of psychological parts including motives, emotions, and thoughts. The definitions vary a bit as to what those parts might be, but they come down to the idea that personality involves a pattern or global operation of mental systems.

Perception : I had the problem of that when I failed in

any work I wont think to do that work. Then I realised and I took step to overcome my problem

Learning and knowledge.

I learn a lot but never put it into existence. I realized to unlearn and relearn what I have learn wrongly.

Rationality : I observed that I was ruled by

sentiments and emotions which made me to give up my goal. I realized that being rational make me to move nearer to my goal than being emotional.

Empathy : I realized that stepping into other

shoes will glorify my personality as a empathetic person.

Persistence : I dislike to learn Hindi .I realized that learning

language is important and a stoning step to my success so I increased my tendency to learn the languages.

Visiting of the orphanage home

On 28.6.2009 we a group of members went to Anbalayam in Vadavalli at Coimbatore. Its an orphanage with 70 members owned by Mr. Damodaran & Mrs. Srikala Damodaran. We had a nice day at the place. The day started by providing breakfast to people there and then we interviewed Mrs. Srikala about the orphanage . There were also competition like song , dance , musical chair where conducted and prizes where distributed . We also gave them gifts we ended the day be having lunch with them.

The boy I interviewed

Sridhar a boy of 15 years old is the boy I interviewed. He is studying 10th standard in Government Higher secondary school in Vadavalli. Being with many sorrows he has the faith to face the world. His aim is to become a teacher and to teach children about what he knows. He said that we all are Gods children. A boy of many mental defection does not shows his sorrows had the faith with confident and with positive ambition.

The biggest sorrow that this boy has faced is , his parents . His father lived him and his mother at the age of 10 . Then his father led second marriage. His mother led him for 2 years then she took Sridhar to orphanage home and she also done second marriage. He cares for it but he is in good faith and positive ambition

At this age being a solo performer in the in the competitive world getting along with different characterized people from different background is a challenge to him, Which teach him some personality factors like team work ,Adjustability ,Attitude, Etc…. Are feeded to him and it will help him to Achieve Greatest.

Even though he has some strength he also has his own Weakness, the greatest Weakness that can affect his Future is Motivation, Empathy, Communication. His Communication & General Knowledge has to be improved. Since he have no exposure to the outer world he may be lacking in his general knowledge which can be easily inserted to him by making him to read more books. Though he is in a group of different people is not empathetic.

If I am given a task to develop a personality I would follow the activities below:

Motivate him. Visit him very often Give him the strokes he need. Get him some good books. Teach him good qualities. Make him to feel that he has care and affection. Led him and support the work with him. Give him moral support

As I will teach him how to interact with the student easily.Then I will led him to teach the feelings of the students

whom he teaches.Guide to be in interpersonal behaviour.I will teach him how to be calm and to a playful boy.

Keerthana:Keerthana was maintaining his emotional stability. I was emotionally disturbed by seeing the people in the orphanage . Which made me to take time to get along with the persons there but Keerthana controlled her emotions and fast in getting along with them.

Naveen Gilbert:Naveen Gilbert was technically silled . When we had some barriers I was quiet upset and was blank .but he convinced me and concentrated to do the next alternative.

Priyadharshini :Priyadharshini was the main reason for our successful activity. She organized the agenda of the day.

Krisnnaveni :Krisnnaveni handled some inconvenient situation intelligently. Where I lacked behind.

The experience in the activity helped me to find my weakness. I can develop by being a motivator in all situation, motivate people to things in which they are interested. I must also be a good controller of my emotional stability.

I can tackle the situation in my intelligent manner. I can also develop my confidence

Before Sridhar was waiting for his parents careness

.but what to do he cant mingle with his friends . He is a feared person . He is selfish minded boy. He wont play or be happy in that orphanage home.

He has the light in his future but starves for his care and concern from his mother and leads his life in darkness .

After The boy is very happy now . He thought that our

life must be leaded by ourselves and he have the self confidence to achieve his success. He also plays with his friends in the orphanage home . He is the child of God . His character has been changed and now he is very happy. He is encouraging all the friends in the orphanage home

Time management. Time management refers to a range of skills, tools, and

techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals. This set encompass a wide scope of activities, and these include planning, allocating, setting goals, delegation, analysis of time spent, monitoring, organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing. Initially time management referred to just business or work activities, but eventually the term broadened to include personal activities also.

Importance Of Time Management

Time management is of great importance to your personal life and career success. It teaches you how to manage your time effectively and make the most of it.Time is a special resource that you cannot store or save for later use. Everyone has the exact same amount of time each day. Time not well used cannot be retrieved.

Many people think that they have many works but there is no enough time to do their work easily. They blame by stress, bad friends , goals and some things which can be easily led by the to say.Time and tide wait for none . So we must prepare ourselves by some and do our work properly .we must want to get the achieved one in our life so we must work on our time management.

Time management will help you set up your priorities.We should plan ourselves to achieve our best in the lifeEvery minute is the valuable one . So we should spend our time by reading some books ,doing some important things in our life.

Barriers we met on doing the assignmentMisunderstanding .Lack of interest.Lack of proper planning.

The barriers can be overcome by.

Setting goals.Be on time.Don’t waste time.Do things in order.Works should be divided and assigned to the team members.List the things should be done in a paper, to avoid confusion.Leading by our confidence

An individual can be better 4 planner when he has the following:Know the important thing.Do the work first.Be with the confident to do the workStop postponding works.Stop giving excuses.Finish the difficult job first.Fix a dead line to the goals.Think good first to do the work

We must give the time pass work to the team members during activityShould know what to do and when to do.Avoid things which are not important.Do the work with commitment.

Open self.

A person who is ready to share his ideas , thoughts , feelings and values with others in the character of a open self personality. He will speak all the matters openly to the person.

Importance

In service sector it is compulsory to be an open self personality.Must be very clear to others.Express our ideas at correct time.Everyone must feel to talk with usGive respect to other feelings.Behave in a discipline manner.There should be good way of talking to others.

Ego states.

Ego-state therapy is a psychodynamic approach to treat various behavioral and cognitive problems within a person.

there are three ego states which we undergo.Adult.Child.Parent.

“Parent”-types desire power and control, a “The Child”-types are frustrated because they have no

power or control but desire both. “adult” – types is responses here and now. I have examined my self with some example when my

parents give advise to me they are in parental ego and I’m in child ego and when I give advise to my brothers or friends I’ m in parental ego and they are in child ego.

After that I realised that I am acting as a parental ego status or child ego status and not as adult ego status. Where adult ego status is good. And trying to act be as a adult ego status.

one can be adult ego status by the transaction he use.

Transactional Analysis.

Transactional analysis the type of communication we use. The transactional analysis is also depends on the ego status.

The example that can be given for transactional analysis is when I talk to the child in the orphanage. my transaction should be parental transaction. When I talk to an adult I should be in adult transaction. When I talk to a elder person I should be adult and to a child it should caring where parental suits. if there is cross transaction it would hard to swot the people there.

Conclusion THE ABOVE ASSIGNMENT GAVE ME LOT OF EXPERIENCE

TO OVERCOME BARRIERS AND TO ANALYSIS MY STRENTH AND WEAKNESS TO MAKE MYSELF A PERFECT PERSONALITY.AND I CAME TO KNOW THE BENEFITS OF BEING AN OPENSELF PERSONALITY IN THIS AIR INDUSTRY.
