Introduction

GPS stands for Global Positioning System, it is used for navigation. Space based satellites are used which gives

the exact information about a particular location and tells correct time to reach the destination.

How It Works

The GPS navigation system is a network of 24 satellites placed in Earth's

orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense. It provides correct location and time information at

any position whether its a day or night, under all weather conditions.

It can suggest the shortest route distance between the two locations.
