THE MOST IMPORTANT TEACHING OF CHRIST IS: LOVE

Throughout the Christian world people ask the same questions: If there is only one Jesus Christ, why are there so many different churches? Why do they have different names and different teachings? Why is there disunity in the name of Jesus who only taught love?Let’s look at history:

There was only one Jesus and there is only one religion founded by Him, called Christianity. All the divisions into various denominations were made by man. These different churches have all branched out from the original teachings of Jesus. The most important commandment of Jesus in John 15:17 is: "These things I command

you, that ye love one another." Jesus even said that His true disciples would be recognized by the love they show to each other. But now, nearly 2000 years later, we see that the original church of Jesus is split into more than 2000 denominations.

The following drawing taken from a Christian encyclopedia explains the problem with some humor.

All the divisions in different churches are man-made.

“…Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one that is , God” (Matt. 19:17)

Jesús hungered for food (Matt 4:2), became thirsty ( John 19:28) and became tired (John 4:6).

Jesús “departed into amountain to pray”. (Mark 6:46). Who did he pray to? God

On the cross Jesus cried out: “My God my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”(Matt. 27:46)

Th Holy Bible speaks abou the historical Jesus as “Jesus in the days of His flesh”. (Hebrews 5:7)

Spiritual Meaning of Spiritual Meaning of “Son of God”“Son of God”

“God is spirit…” (John 4:24) “That which is born of the flesh is flesch and that

which is born of the Spirit is spirit”. (John 3:6) Conclusion: Son of God is a spiritual relationship Christ came from heaven the first time: Christ said “…For I came down from heaven…”

“And they said, Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph , whose father and mother we know? How is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? (John 6:38)

His name is “Jesus”:”.

His title is “Crist”: The Hebrew word is Messiah , who is the Promised One for all Jews. In English : Anointed One.

Meaning of “anointed One“: Anointing is the ceremony in which a person became King. Conclusion: Christ is not the name of a person but it is the spiritual title of the Manifestation of God.

““Christ ” or “King”is a title Christ ” or “King”is a title and “a function”and “a function”

So the title “Christ” refers to the everlasting spiritual kingship which connects God to man in a progressive way. To show this everlasting connection between one Messenger and another, Jesus told the Jews: “For had ye believed Moses ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me” (John 5:46)

The title of King goes from one person to the next when the old King dies. The new King has

the same responsibilities, the same power, and the same role. When he takes over it is as if

the old King has returned.

Of course it is a different body with a

different name, a different time, and a

different place, but the same title..

David is anointed as King

The lovers of the light The lovers of the light “The virtues and perfections of Moses became apparent in Jesus Christ most effulgently, but the Jews held to the name Moses, not adoring the virtues and perfections manifest in Him. Had they been adoring these virtues and seeking these perfections, they would assuredly have believed in Jesus Christ when the same virtues and perfections shone in Him. If we are lovers of the light, we adore it in whatever lamp it may become manifest, but if we love the lamp itself and the light is transferred to another lamp, we will neither accept nor sanction it. Therefore, we must follow and adore the virtues revealed in the Messengers of God -- whether in Abraham, Moses,  153  Jesus or other Prophets -- but we must not adhere to and adore the lamp. We must recognize the sun, no matter from what dawning point it may shine forth, be it Mosaic, Abrahamic or any personal point of orientation whatever, for we are lovers of sunlight and not of orientation. We are lovers of illumination and not of lamps and candles. We are seekers for water, no matter from what rock it may gush forth. We are in need of fruit in whatsoever orchard it may be ripened. We long for rain; it matters not which cloud pours it down. We must not be fettered. If we renounce these fetters, we shall agree, for all are seekers of reality.”

¿How do we start the dialogue?¿How do we start the dialogue?

Ask diagnostic questions?– If there is only one Jesus Christ why are there

so many different denominations ?– If there is only one Holy Bible why so many

diffrent interpretations? – Why is there such disunity amongst Christians

as Jesus only preached love?

Do not start with prophesies.

– The majority of members of the main churches are not interested in prophesies.

– The most important is to show you love Jesus, the Son of God. Explain the exalted station of Jesus Christ
