Conservation Program - the most Complete and Safest Pole Examination System available in the UK
Pole-Stat examines the pole for ALL Deterioration Types (without excavation) as follows:
Internal Decay (x 2) below (-200 mm) and above the ground-line (to 2.5 m)
Soft Rot below the ground-line
External Decay (x 2) at and above the ground-line (to 2.5 m)
Mechanical Damage (x 2) at and above the ground-line (to 2.5 m)

Woodpecker Damage
Top Rot
Pole-Stat can never under-estimate Timber Loss and calculates the resultant Pole RSV (by reference to a Digital Library of Pole Strengths covering all UK Pole Grades) after which other Pole Parameters are recorded (wind-span, conductors etc.) to Calculate a Factor of Safety
Pole-Stat incorporates an Internal Decay Calculator which permits the Progression of Internal Decay to be Safely Predicted, allowing Poles with Internal Decay to remain Safely in Service without Remediation
Pole-Stat is primarily used to Safely Re-Classify Existing HI5 and HI4 Poles back to HI3 (typical rates of 10-30% and 75-85% respectively) making it THE Cost-Effective Method to Improve Network Resilience
Each Pole-Stat is Bespoke to precise customer requirements and some Software Output examples follow (many are available):
