The Washcloth, a textile workhorse Recently, I was approached by a customer and they had a stack of 100 washcloths that did not look like a good bundle.
It wasn’t an unfriendly conversation. But it made me think, what is the right washcloth? • 12x12 Washcloth 100% Cotton 0.75# per dozen • 12x12 Washcloth 100% Cotton 1.00# per dozen

Washcloths are like a red solo cup Then later in the month, the inventor of The Red Solo Cup died and it gave a big rise into the Toby Keith song. Somehow my brain tied these two elements together.

12x12 Washcloth 100% Cotton 0.75# per dozen
“With this item, SPECIFICATIONS”, I am definitely going to promote our price. • It is economical due to a low GSM. • We can either manufacture them with more cotton in the pile (Hand Feel) or Ground (Strength). • We usually try to get a median which provides both but more towards the strength and durability of the washcloth, thus the lower pile and hand feel on this item.

The extra weight (GSM, density) results in;
• A tighter weave due to more cotton thus extra durability compared with lower GSM (0.75lb). • Hem stitching is also stronger as there is more weight to sew together (i.e. sewing two thin pieces together vs two thick pieces together). • Shrinkage is reduced and bleaching is improved as bleach takes to more cotton and appearance is greatly improved
There is a 25% improvement which is significant. “It COSTS a little more”, so make sure you, “get the right PRICE”.
