Coaching is a form of employee training and development.
Coaches in the workplace are not counselors, psychotherapists, or consultants – although they may use some of the same skills and tools.

• It is a process of providing help and support to people to face the difficult times in life.
• A counseling session is a meeting between the supervisor and the employee.
