Mirroring occurs when one person subconsciously imitates the gestures, speech pattern, or attitude of

another.

You can use this mechanism to increase your response rates when dealing with high

volumes by introducing a smarter way of building templates.

Smart templates

1. Write down bits and pieces instead of entire messages:

• Introduction

• Desciption of the role

• Company overview

2. Arrange the information into the right order based on the patterns used by your potential candidate.

1. Highlight the words that you use that could be replaced by synonyms

Recruiting/ Recruitment/ Resourcing/ Talent Acquisition

2. Personalisation doesn’t have to be limited to using the recipient’s name or inserting one of their interests in the message. Read through their profile and try using the same language as your potential candidate.
