The year 2014 has been an incredibly eventful and exciting one for all of us at Embassy – underscored by the unstinting support and commitment from all our key stakeholders - clients, partners and employees. This second issue of Embassy Post highlights the achievements that have made this year truly memorable for us while offering you insights into some of our plans for the coming year.

Embassy Office Parks shifted into overdrive with a historic acquisition – that resulted in the creation of Embassy TechVillage in May this year. This was followed by the launch of our first hospitality venture - the Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks in September, followed by the acquisition of the Banglore project of the world-renowned Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences in October.

Equally momentous for the Embassy Group and Embassy Office Parks, was the inking of India’s largest ever commercial real estate lease deal in Embassy TechVillage for 3.25 million sft of office space with Flipkart, India's leading e-commerce marketplace.

Embassy Group’s success as a growth company is tied directly to our culture of partnership, community-building, innovation and value-addition. Today we believe that sustainable innovation that benefits clients, stakeholders, the

Offices, and Retail areas. Ample parking, on site property management, catering facilities, and shuttle services are some of the amenities offered to tenants.

The IT Park at Indjija has been conceptu-alized as a business support and technolgy transfer initiative that will encourage and support the start-up and incubation of innovation-led, high-growth knowedge-based businesses.

Ramgopal Narayanan, CEO - “Lack of class 'A' office space in Serbia along with higher rental costs are giving us the edge in our negotiations at the moment. Apart from this we are offering free transport services - a model which is new to this part of the world. Our marketing activities are in full

swing and we should have our first tenants in the forthcoming months.”

The Embassy Techzone IT Park Indijija, is the first phase of our grander vision to create ETZ Teslagrad - a smart innovation-led, hi-tech and self-sustained economic and business township.

Serbia has one of the lowest corporate taxes in the region. Cheap electricity costs along with attractive labor costs, government subsidies etc, make this region a formidable platform for businesses with explosive growth potential.

Also, negotiations for Serbia to join the EU are progressing as per plan. This is an exciting yet challenging phase to bring our vision to fruition soon.
