7 SECRETS
One of the most effective ways to get your product in front of potential buyers is to unleash the power of influencer marketing.
Influencers are the “movers and shakers” in their chosen fields and have built strong followings that you can tap into, if you know how to develop working relationships with them. This is how to get them talking about your products.
“HOW TO UNLOCK THE POWER OF INFLUENCER MARKETING IN YOUR BUSINESS”
INFLUENCER MARKETING – WHAT IS IT?Influencer marketing (also influence marketing) is a form of marketing that has emerged from a variety of practices and studies, in which focus is placed on specific key person (or types of individual) rather than the target market as a whole. It identifies the individuals that have influence over potential customers, and orients marketing activities around these influencers.[1]

INFLUENCER MARKETING – EXAMPLES
#1 – INFLUENCERS ARE NOT FREE!
Advertisers need to understand that influencers are not going to promote their products for free. There are only a limited number of influencers that have high traffic. If you want to access their audience, you have to pay for their influence.Payment Models:
1. Free Samples - only works for smaller bloggers
2. Paid Placement - the standard for larger bloggers
3. Revenue Share/Affiliate - non-traditional but many starting to adopt
#2 – BE PREPARED TO INVEST TIME
Finding influencers who will work with you is time consuming. It’s easier and more cost effective to use an established influencer network like Pollen-8, otherwise you’ll have to visit each influencer’s website and dig around for contact information yourself.
#3 – PROVIDE FREE STUFFThe whole idea behind influencer marketing is to provide authentic reviews. Get your products out to these influencers and get in their lives. Become so ingrained, and part of what they’re doing, that they want to naturally talk about you.
#4 – KNOW YOUR REAL AUDIENCE
You must know who your REAL audience is, and not just assume you know who they are. Think about the end user, but more importantly who is influencing their purchase decision (e.g. a partner, spouse or friend).
#5 – IT’S ABOUT BRAND, NOT SALESGet influencers talking about your brand and they will
create valuable organic content for you, especially on social media. Take it from TRUMP: you at least need somebody talking about you, no matter how they're talking about you!
#6 – IM DOES NOT STAND ALONEInfluencer marketing is only one component of your overall digital strategy. It needs to be part of a larger, more widespread marketing program that includes all the other traditional methods of digital marketing, such as search, social, affiliate . . . everything.
#7 – EVERYONE IS DOING IT
Everybody is doing it, and the reason why is it works. We all have things that we have to have and people that we follow in the footsteps of. That's the very idea of influencer marketing – somebody recommends something we just cannot live without!
