1.It’s the little accessories like scarves and belts that never seem to have a proper home in our closets. Solution: Purchase chain from any hardware store and create an inexpensive DIY scarf display. Hang the chain onto a bedroom wall with a cup hook.

6.This could be any drawer in the house, usually the kitchen that has odds and ends we just throw in. These include old batteries, old utensils, old pens, office supplies, etc. Solution: Live by this rule. One thing in means another thing goes out.

Things just don’t get put away and it becomes really cluttered really quickly, because you may not think twice about buying nail polish or lipstick, so we just end up with tons of stuff in the bathroom.Solution: Pick out the essentials you use every day. Things used only every so often should be stored elsewhere.

Have you opened your fridge recently to see a sea of expired dairy, forgotten take out and unused condiments?Solution: Any food that’s gone bad, uneaten leftovers from restaurants, or anything expired could get tossed out. Clear out regularly, preferably once a week the night before garbage pickup. Oh, and get rid of those little packs of ketchup and mustard piling up (you know they’re there!)
