DANDELIONCORE + MOVEMENT

Community Building is beyond bringingpeople together. It's about the why - a shared

purpose which can be multiplied withoutlosing its essence.

And the why is, essentially, your vision.

As a Community Leader, your purpose will resonate with your crowd. It will grow id

you let it expand through others.

Why is it important for you? (5x)Or until you get to: because it is!

Why: To help every entrepreneur in the worldHow: Community Building (Culture, Education, Connections)What: Local Communities, Global Event, Mentorship

How Laís connects to that: Why: Better people make a better world. Entrepreneurs are closer to be reality creators - not just consumers. I wanna populate the world with more people like that. How: Setting a context where people believe in change and reach the best of their own potential, leveling each other up and learning from those who did it.What: Startup Grind Community, The List, MaGIC Community Ambassador, One-to-One connections, Partnerships

VALUESValues > Decisions > Actions

Behind every minimum action, there is adecision defined by values (how you

prioritize, choose, prefer, avoid, intend to).Only you can change people's actions by

understanding what matters for them.

Your actions define the culture you build. But actions are defined by values. Only

you build the ideal culture by having (first) the set of values that lead to it.

What moves you? Hint: Emotions.

Help Each OtherGiveNever Give UpMake Friends

How Laís connects to that: - I grind my teeth when someone tries to profit selfishly of a situation - harming others. Tarantino style (gotta work on it). - I get "teary-eyed" when I listen to the story of someone who - besides all the odds, just made it, just kept believing.- My guts feel like cramping when I talk to someone who sounds "non-authentic", over-selling or praising me to get something out of it.

BELONGINGOur culture defines behaviors

and motivates us to take action

A strong sense of belonging generates also asense of responsibility, empowerment andloyalty. Makes we do stuff - even when no

boss is looking. We do it for our innerconscience and for our peers.

Values define actions, which define culture, which define how people interact and respond to others and to situations. Empowerment is about building culture.

What actions do you expect from people? Why should they do it?

How are you empowering them?

150+ cities and growing103 events in October60k entrepreneurs all over the world

How Laís connects to that: - Derek, Startup Grind Founder: involuntary care and trust. Family like feeling, you want to make them proud.- Without trainings or guidelines, I started 2 chapters successfully (Buenos Aires and Kuala Lumpur).- By controlling only a few variables, we're attracting and leveling up people who share our vision and values.

THE TURKEYWhat brings people together

What people give money and time for may addvalue, but it's just the means: an excuse for

what really matters:good times, connections and growth.

"Accelerators, communities, are like the Thanksgiving dinner: people get together to eat the Turkey, but what really matters

is who is around the table"

Startup Grind secret recipe: thriving communityTip! Who are you cooking for? Get to know their taste.

IngredientsPurpose (why)Values (how)Actions (how)The Turkey (what)

How to do it1st: Get your purpose out and start talking about it with many people. Combine your actions and values - batter it until it's homogeneous. Tip! Get a mentor to help if it's still lumpy.

2nd: Choose your Turkey. Something concrete people would come for - it can be a product, even a job description. Ours is an interview and Q&A with the best entrepreneurs in town - which is in fact a massive mentoring session. It's even better if accompanied with food and drinks.

Secret spice: a ton of passion (comes from the quality of your purpose) and cadence: become a point of reference.

DANDELION: THE ENDCORE + MOVEMENT

It comes back to the why. It's cyclic - once you did it, people you empoweredwith your brand will keep spreading it, changing it,

making it evolve, but keeping it's core.
