TYPES OF MUSIC AND EVOLUTION ALONG THE HISTORY

ROCK AND ROLL

Is a genre of popular music that originated and evolved in the United States during the late 1940s and early 1950s, primarily from a combination of the blues, country music, jazz and gospel music.

Rolling Stones

The most group of rock and roll is the Rolling that are an English rock band formed in London in April 1962 by guitarist Brian Jones, pianist Ian Stewart, vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. Their most important songs are Satisfaction and Mixed Emotions.

Tokio Hotel

At present the most known group is Tokio Hotel which is a pop rock band from Germany, founded in 2001 by Bill Kaulitz,Tom Kaulitz, Gustav Schfer and Georg Listing. The quartet have scored four number one singles and have released three number one albums in their native country. The most successful songs are "Schrei", "Durch den monsun" and "Leb die sekunde".

POP

Pop music is usually understood to be commercially recorded music, often oriented towards a youth market, usually consisting of relatively short, simple songs utilizing technological innovations to produce new variations on existing themes.

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was an American recording artist, dancer, singer-songwriter, musician, and philanthropist. Referred to as the King of Pop, Jackson is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by Guinness World Records.His more famous songs are Thriller, Black or white and Billie Jean.

Shakira is a Colombian singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer, and philanthropist who emerged in the music scene of Colombia and Latin America in the early 1990s. Shakira is a native Spanish speaker and also speaks fluent English and Portuguese as well as some Italian, French and Arabic.

Juan Luis Guerra is a Dominican singer, songwriter, and self-producer. He is one of the most internationally recognized Dominican artists in decades past. His pop style of merengue and bolero and Afro-pop/Latin fusion have garnered him considerable success outside the Dominican Republic.
