The great internet scrapbook/pinboard.

What is Pinterest?

• Pinterest is basically an internet based pinboard, memory board, scrapbook etc. etc.

• Its focus is on images but the really handy thing is that those images are linked to the originating site.

• This means Pinterest can almost be used like a cloud based bookmarking system too.

• Make collections of whatever you like so you can find things later!

What is Pinterest continued…• When you look at Pinterest it shows you a

sequential list of new pins by those you follow

• Unlike the list type feed of twitter it’s more like a mosaic of pictures by you and users you follow.

How to Join Pinterest

• Unlike Instagram you can use Pinterest on both mobile platforms and PC/Mac.

• Whether you sign up on the website or using the app it’s very similar to the way you signed up to Instagram.

• You’re free to then customise your profile as you see fit, then comes the fun…
