This study performed were to evaluate the effectiveness of Pepsi, orange juice and coffee as storage media on the Degree of Conversion of three types of composite resin comparison with dry samples. study performed were to evaluate the effectiveness of Pepsi, orange juice and coffee as storage media on the Degree of Conversion of three types of composite resin comparison with dry samples.
1-Three types of visible light-curing composite restorative
material (Te-Econom, Tetric ceram, VOCO)
2-Storages media(pepsi, coffee, orange juice
3-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)
4-Polyethylene mold 5mm in diameter and 1mm in height to
determine
5-LED light curing unit
Sample Preparation Degree of Conversion

After curing, the material was removed
from the mold
Placed in a closed dark containers
Stored 7days in storage media
Separately crushed and grinned manually by piston and mortar
into powder
Powder mixed with potassium bromide at weight percentage 1:5
Powder poured into metal mold
Compressed into a disc shape by Bruker
press
Samples become ready for
measurement by FTIR
Uncured samples were prepared by placement on a special cell supplied by the manufacturers of Fourier
transform infrared spectroscopy
Become ready for measurement
