Multimedia Rack Specifications:●● Base units are 790mm (31⅛”) wide by

352mm (13⅞”) deep.●● Add-on units are the same width but are

127mm (5”) deep.●● Compact base units are 610mm (24”)

high, with Stretch bases 959mm (37¾”) high.

●● Compact add-on units are 565mm (22¼”) high whilst Stretch add-ons are 914mm (36”) high.

Maximiser Rack Features:●● EDP’s original media storage solution, designed for storing 3590 tapes. Now

capable of storing DLT / LTO tapes.●● Available in single sided racks for use against walls or double sided for

creating aisles.●● Bottom two rows are angled for easy cartridge label viewing.●● Constructed from wire-welded, furniture grade steel.

●● Racks are 6 Auto-Pacs high - 1,867mm (73½”)

●● Sliders have precision moulded casters and DuPont Delrin® guides for effortless gliding.

Auto-Extreme™ Pac3490-25

Extreme Features:●● Extreme provides high density

storage for 3590, 3592, 9x40 and T10K cartridges.

●● Storage capacity can be increased by the addition of optional slider units.

●● Base units are available in single sided units for fixing to walls, or as double sided units for creating aisles.

●● Both base units and sliders are available in two widths, 2 pacs or 5 pacs wide by 8 pacs high.

●● The standard spring assisted brake system allows for smooth, easy operation and has adjustable tension for operator preference.

●● Optional hydraulic brake system is available that makes the slider become neutral at the end of a row.

Extreme Sizes:

●● Five pac wide Extreme base units are 2,083mm (82”) high by 1,462mm (579⁄16”) wide.●● Single sided base units are 241mm (9½”) deep.●● Double sided base units are 391mm (15⅜”) deep.

Auto-Extreme™ Pac Features:●● Design completely surrounds and protects cartridges,

keeping them more secure from accidental bumps, shocks, spills & dust.

●● Reduced pac height allows for 8 levels instead of 6.●● Unique, patented self-locating design eliminates top ribs and

prevents “cartridge jam”, enabling effortless retrieval and refiling.

●● Allows for pre-staging and handling of cartridges you want.●● Moulded from high-impact polystyrene and features Delrin®

springs.

Multimedia Extreme

Multimedia Extreme Features:●● Multimedia Extreme provides high density media storage for a

wide array of tapes including 4mm, 8mm, DLT, LTO, CD-ROM and Optical Disk.

●● Uses the same packs as used in EDP Multimedia Racks (except for the 3946-00 Multimedia Ten Pac).

●● Multimedia Extreme can be configured to store a single media type or a mix of different media formats.

●● Base units are available as single sided racks for attaching to a wall or as double sided racks for creating aisles.

●● Additional storage capacity can be added to base units by the addition of slider units.

●● Sliders have Delrin® wheels for easy, quiet movement.

●● Base units are 6 pacs wide, and between 8 and 16 pacs high, depending on the media being stored.

●● Multimedia Extreme has a standard spring assisted brake system that allows for smooth, easy operation and has adjustable tension.

●● Optional hydraulic brake system is also available, where the slider becomes neutral at the end of a row.

Russ Bassett Media StorageProMedia Cabinet Features:●● ProMedia cabinets provide secure, enclosed, storage for many types of media

tapes.●● Media is stored securely in drawers by Slide-N-Lock dividers, or in optional

media specific wire trays.●● All cabinets are 610mm (24”) deep.●● ProMedia cabinets are available in 3 heights: 1,499mm (59”), 1,092mm

(43”) and 686mm (27”).●● Cabinets are in 2 widths 762mm (30”) and 1,219mm (48”).●● There are 5 data drawer heights 102mm (4”), 127mm (5”), 153mm (6”),

178mm (7”) and 204mm (8”). Two file drawers are also available in 279mm (11”) and 305mm (12”) heights.

●● Drawers are interlocking, allowing only one drawer to be opened at a time, preventing accidental tipping.

●● Drawers have heavy duty ball bearing slides for smooth quiet operation, and are fitted with turn key locks for security.

●● Cabinets have a heavy gauge welded construction with powder coat finish.

●● Extra storage capacity is possible with 1,219mm (48”) wide units with the addition of the top mounting Overfile unit.

ProMedia Overfile Features:●● Fits onto the 1,219mm (48”) wide ProMedia cabinets.●● Overfile consists of 7 vertical drawers.●● Each drawer has 4 height adjustable shelves in 13mm (½”)

increments for maximum flexibility.●● Overfile cabinets are 921mm (36¼”) high, 1,219mm (48”) wide

and 610mm (24”) deep.●● Optional adjustable backstops position all media at the front

edge of the shelf for quicker visual & physical access.

Gemtrac Features:●● Gemtrac is a high density

enclosed media storage solution.

●● Gemtrac consists of two large cabinets with vertical drawers that slide out on an interconnecting overhead track.

●● A Gemtrac solution occupies only 2.4m² (25 Sq feet) of floor space.

●● Two cabinet heights - 2,057mm (81”) and 2,286mm (90”)

●● Five drawer widths - 127mm (5”), 140mm (5½”), 153mm (6”), 178mm (7”) and 204mm (8”).

●● Drawers supported on 8 ball bearing wheels ensuring smooth and quiet operation.

●● Drawers have ajustable shelves in 13mm (½”) increments.

Slimcase Features:●● Slimcase is a multi-purpose, and

universal system, that can be used in any office or backroom application.

●● Slimcase can accommodate either top or side tab file folders, small media such as computer tapes, and all types of audio/visual tapes as well as binder storage.

●● Configurations can have pull out drawers, shelves or a mixture of both.

●● Slimcase has an open design with the option of fitting a locking tambour door for extra security.

●● Two Heights - 1,990mm (78”) or 1,780mm (70”).

●● Slimcase cabinets are 920mm (36”) wide and 470mm (18½”) deep.

●● Narrow footprint saves space.●● Shelves are adjustable in 13mm (½”)

shelves with stop-lock connectors, that keep the shelves from unintentionally sliding out.

Turtle Media Transit CasesTurtle Case Features:●● Provides secure storage for media while it is being transported, and protects tapes

from mechanical impacts, temperature and / or humidity extremes, debris from foreign contaminants, airbourne debris and electrostatic discharge.

●● This is achieved through a double wall construction that absorbs impact so reducing shock to tapes.

●● The double wall construction also provides insulation from external temperature changes and minimises the effects of stray magnetic fields.

●● Made from a special high density polyethylene construction that is lightweight but incredibly durable. The material will not rust and there are no sharp edges.

●● The unique moulded dividers create individual media specific slots, that are sized to the exact dimensions of each media type. This reduces damage to the media that could be caused by shaking and rattling.

●● The sealing on Turtle cases prevents the ingress of dirt and water, and also prevents condensation.

●● Turtle cases have self locking, double strong latches that are sturdy and safe from springing open.

●● Lockable for added security (Brass combination padlock now included as standard).

●● Recessed smooth grip handles that are easy to carry and easy to stack.

1. BarcodeA barcode symbol consists of varying width parallel bars and spaces. Pre-determined width patterns are used to represent actual data in the symbol.2.
