Background

Postgraduate medical education and training a priority.

Optimal Model correlates with independent work undertaken by SESIAHS

Networked medical education and training is complex:

– Variety of stakeholders

– Many networked training programs – Prevocational, IMET, Vocational, College, Informal

Governance and Communication identified as the main issues that can be addressed at LHD level.

Systems level issues (including funding and accreditation standards and processes) require further discussion to ensure the effective delivery of medical education and training.
