HiMSS 2013 is just around the corner, and this year the Big Easy is hosting the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society annual conference.
New Orleans is a haven of rich culture that lends itself to a whole different kind of cuisine. It's perhaps one of the best examples of international flavors coming together into an American-like melting pot of flavors.

Domilise's is a family run “po-boy joint” that serves everything from fresh seafood to roast beef. It’s a well reviewed neighborhood staple popular with tourists, locals and even celebrities. It’s a small place often referred to as a “rundown” room, so this is not the place to go for ambience…just good food.
Some of the places you may want to visit include both inexpensive eats as well as more upscale restaurants.

Joey K's is a comfort food restaurant located in the Magazine Street area. It’s been called “what every neighborhood joint wishes it could be.”

The 'Grand Dame' of the city’s restaurants, it carries a sophisticated air, serves great local cuisine, and is perhaps the city's most memorable with its majestic architecture.
