• Sept. 2001 counts compared to Oct. 2013 counts at 13 specific locations: 36% increase

• 16% of students and seniors are biking on Evanston roadways

• 67% of non-experts are biking on Evanston roadways (Recreational

and Commuter)

• This is why comfortable corridors and connections are so important

In Evanston it is a bike facility with additional safety measures that provides increased separation from traffic for recreational, senior, and student bikers.
