Pilot Project aiming at decentralising services for victims of sexual violence in 3
provinces of Burundi Bujumbura, Cibitoke e Muramvya
Donors: European Commission, Waldesian Church, Pays de la Loire, French Government, CCM and ISV.
Period: 10/10/2011- 09/06/2015.
Partners: Initiative Seruka pour les Victimes de Viol, Ministry of Health and Ministry of National Solidarity, Gynécologues sans frontières.
We estimate that victims and potential victims of sexual violence in the project area are about: 60.000 women and 3.000 men, of which about 38.000 children (under 18 years old).
