To cool off from tanning on the beach you can take a diving trip in the crystal clear water and see some amazing sights as well as water sports such as water skiing, wind surfing, jet skiing, etc! If you don’t feel like getting wet at the moment but are done tanning, no need to worry, you can go horseback riding on the island and on the beach! If you are more adventurous of road bike riding is even offered on the island for a vigorous adventure!

Since you are relaxing on the beaches during the day you can hit the vibrant night life when you are done! Though it does have a vibrant night life you can find your own oasis to relax at during the night or join places that aren’t so busy!

Like with most tropical places to visit, the best time to go is during the cool weather around January through April. Most people have just spent money on Christmas and New Years and all of the kids in college are in Florida for spring break so you will get a great relaxing time there. The summer will be your busiest time as most people are off during the summer or have more time to enjoy a vacation. During the summer you will also see more of the vibrant colors and clothing that this culturally diverse island has to offer!

Great ways to enjoy your stay is to locate a small Villa. When you visit and rent out a small villa it may be a little more expensive than a hotel room, but you can save money on food as you can cook at home. You can enjoy your villa by not having anyone come home late at night above you or around you it is your own space for you and your guests to enjoy!
