How to Play the Game • For music fanatics, ages 10 & up.

Winning the Game Get to the disco at the end of the game & perform for your audience who will pay you what they feel your performance was worth. The player with the most money at the end wins. Playing the Game 1. Each player starts the game with $1,000.  2. Each player will begin in the space at the end of the record player arm. Each will roll the dice to see who goes first -  largest number goes first.3. Players will take turns in counter-clockwise fashion, and will move the number of spaces that appear on the dice; the person to their left will ask a question according to the category and genre (color) the player has landed on. 4. The board consists of three categories (albums):  Name the Artist, Name the Song, and Finish the Lyrics, within them are 5 categories represented by color:  Pop/Rock, Hip Hop/R&B, Jazz/Blues, Country/Folk, and Oldies.  6. Players will have the opportunity to earn money upon answering a question correctly. $20 for Name the Artist, $30 dollars for Name the Song, and $40 dollars for Finish the Lyrics.7. If the player cannot guess the answer, they can choose to pay $10 each for up to 2 clues (on the other side of the card). There are no clues for the Finish the Lyrics category. If a player answers incorrectly, they win no money, and it is the next player's turn.8. A player will complete a category once they have made one complete revolution of the album and answered the "bridge question" correctly. (The bridge question is the space on one album  that connects with a space on another album.) A player must answer this question correctly before they can move forward to the next album.9. A player may also land on a "Free Love" space which will allow them to choose the genre for the question they will be asked. A player may also land on an opportunity space which will cause them to gain or lose money, for example: "Perform at karaoke bar, win $100." or "Go to record store, spend $100."
